A fantastic unit and location marred by 3 separate issues relating to interactions with WelcomeReady (property management):
1. All correspondence stated that the security deposit would be one amount, but twice that amount was taken out of my bank account. Incurred overdrawn fees with bank as a result
2. Dryer was not working on arrival. When I advised property managers, they said they were already aware it was out of order. There was never any heads-up about this in any of the comms prior to that point. A working dryer was listed as one of the property’s amenities
3. When completing the “check-in” form, I was asked to indicate preferred check-out time. I selected 11am. The day prior to checkout received email stating we had to be out by 10am. When I inquired, I was told that late checkout could only be done “by request” 🤷♂️. Got my 11am checkout.
Everyone had a great time on the holiday, but these interactions with the property managers created unnecessary stress and expense. Would love to return to the property, but there would need to be significant improvement to the way the property (and the holiday experience) is managed by WelcomeReady.
