Although we enjoyed our stay we found problems with our suite due to poor maintenance: 1. Patio door does not fit and whistles with the slightest wind. 2. Interior air vents are filthy/nhealthy! 3. If you want people to save water, why install a huge jacuzzi tub? 4. Lack of counter space in the bathroom and bad light switch and door design. On the plus side- friendly staff and yummy morning muffins.

Rumba Beach Resort has a prime beachfront location directly opposite Bulcock Beach with many great restaurants and a shopping precinct only a short stroll away. We stayed in a premium 2 bedroom spa apartment boasting panoramic ocean views. The apartment was clean and well equipped with a full size kitchen, two spacious bathrooms and a laundry. The resort provides guests with fresh linen, bath towels and beach towels and features 2 swimming pools, a jacuzzi and a poolside cocktail bar. The only suggestion would be a larger lounge or perhaps adding a couple of recliners so all guests can put their feet up when watching TV or relaxing.

Great resort and in a wonderful location.
The resort was very clean, well staffed, unit was really lovely and very well equipped. Lap pool was closed for maintenance which was disappointing.

I have stayed at the Rumba on a few occasions now, by myself and as part of family groups and I have always had a wonderful time. The property is very well maintained and the facilities are great. One pool was out of action this time due to a building project, but the resort pool and spa were able to be used and the Resort had notified of the change to the faciliites prior to my arrival which was great. Everything you want or need is nearby and the unit, as usual was very well supplied - with everything needed for a relaxing stay.

Rumba was a fantastic stay during our recent trip the cost for the weekend. The hotel facilities were fantastic and well looked after. The bar down stairs next the pool provided a great location to relax and take in the atmosphere of the hotel and area. Rooms were good, clean, well presented and had everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Big bonus points is the coffee bar in reception area with their own barista. I have not stayed in many hotels/resorts that are not charging more than a $1000 p/n for that convince. It's a small thing but all small things add up eventually. Will stay again in the future for sure.

Management and staff were amazing and made our stay special. The apartment was excellent. Walking out the resort and onto the beach fantastic with lots of dining options. Excellent stay, we will be back on a regular basis.

The room was well presented clean, comfortable and spacious. We had a premium beachfront room which said it had panoramic views of the beach but ours was cutoff by the balcony of the room beside us which was a bit disappointing. Overall it was good the only other letdown was the bar downstairs had a music on the Friday night which was loud and I struggled to get to sleep but it was only the one night we were there that it happened.

Stayed five nights in August 2023 in a two-bedroom apartment. High level fittings and furniture, everything we needed including fully equipped kitchen, laundry, balcony and beach view. Easy access from basement carpark via the lifts to rooms. Direct access to beach esplanade and restaurants/cafes. One block from Caloundra strip shopping

The place is lovely and stayed here many times, but this time the cleaning just wasnt up to standards. We had a stinky bathroom and stains on our fresh clean towels. Dont know whats hsppened here but the whole family stays here and this is our worst experience this far.

Great property for families though it would be even better if the larger, more kid friendly pool was heated. Rooms have plenty of amenities and the beach towels with beach bag was a fabulous touch.
