With lovely private spaces to relax and retreat, plus easy access to the coast’s most iconic tourist and natural drawcards, this two-bedroom Noosa Heads townhouse offers the best of all worlds – without breaking the budget. Part of a small block of units, Moondarah embraces its coastal position with an ambience that is big on style, charm, personality and practicality. It’s everything you need, all in one place, making it the perfect holiday headquarters for a family or couples.
The Space:
Thoughtfully zoned for moments of retreat and togetherness, the two-level townhouse positions its bedrooms upstairs, making use of neutral and earthy tones plus accents of rich wood to create a soothing ambience. Ensuites add to the absolute sense of serenity while the master bedroom enjoys a private balcony with a lush green outlook. Downstairs, the lifestyle hub seamlessly melds the outdoors and in, with a tropical ambience that makes a star of beautiful textures, from rich-grained timbers and sleek leather to soft cushions and throws.
With both the front and back accesses of the townhouse artfully shielded by slatted shutters, the design allows for cooling breezes to flow through the open plan hub. Inside, a spacious kitchen is inspiration enough to visit the markets for a rich bounty of local produce to turn into fresh and flavoursome fare. With an eye to ease of living, a spacious dining zone is positioned adjacent, flowing through to a comfortable lounge that can bring guests together for conversation, coffee breaks or even a night in front of the TV.
From there, the doors lead out to a tiled courtyard, perfectly set up for alfresco dining and entertaining with a barbecue positioned among the lush green plantings. Other complex features include a communal pool, which is the perfect destination should you need a quick cool-off on the balmiest of days. For holidaymakers who like to cast a line in search of dinner, the townhouse is set just down from the local fishing hotspot that is Munna Point Bridge, with the shops and eateries of prestigious Quamby Place also close by. If you’re exploring by foot – or even travelling by car – a slightly longer journey leads you through to Noosa’s main tourist hub, encompassing such delights as the retail and restaurants of Hastings St, the lush flora and fauna of Noosa National Park and the golden expanse of Main Beach, whose beauty is best appreciated in person.
There’s so much to see and do here, with something for everyone, regardless of taste, budget or available time. Book in for an exquisite five-star dining experience or grab a surfboard and head to the local break. Take the kids on an educational bushwalk to learn the name of local plants, or simply content yourself with splashing about in the shallows. Browse, buy and even bargain as you explore the delights of fashion, homewares and more, or simply indulge in an ice-cream and people watch. It’s a little slice of paradise you’re privileged to share with the world, before heading back to your private oasis, where pleasure and leisure are the bywords for a getaway like no other. It truly is claiming the best of all worlds.
