    The Space:

    Charming and contemporary, this coastal unit in Moffat beach is the perfect place for a weekend getaway, work-from-home alternative, family holiday or a cosy home base while exploring everything the Sunshine Coast has to offer. With 2.5 luxurious bathrooms, three comfortable bedrooms, this property provides you with more than enough space to slow down and soak up the laid-back lifestyle of the Sunshine Coast. This home can be booked for both the upstairs & downstairs.



    This unit has all the creature comforts provided at a hotel but in the form of a fully furnished private residence. Stay cool in summer with the ducted air-conditioning or take full advantage of the sea breeze and sounds of the ocean at night through the modern shutter windows installed in every room.



    As you enter through the front door and head up the stairs, you will see an open-plan kitchen and dining area that features a dining table that seats six people. It is important to note that there is a safety gate at the top of these stairs to protect any kids or fur-babies. The brand new modern kitchen includes a smart induction cooktop, pyrolytic oven, reverse osmosis filtered water, premium knives/cookware, a coffee machine with ample utensils and appliances. Just off this open-plan area is the spacious living room. Featuring a six-seater couch, this room is perfect for hosting a movie night with the complimentary Disney+ subscription or having some down time and enjoying a cosy night in. The living room extends further to another space designed as a hang-out spot or play-space for kids. With a stocked bookshelf, a desk, a two-seater couch and plenty of floor space, this room is multi-purpose and a great spot to sit down and soak in those holiday vibes! For those who need a space to work from home, there is a well-equipped desk fit with a large screen monitor, keyboard, mouse, audio, webcam, and multiple device charging options.



    Outdoors you will find a large deck complete with an outdoor dining for up to eight, a BBQ and a lounge chair to relax and enjoy the garden. Outdoor fairy lights set the scene for a romantic or relaxed evening, allowing you to soak up the outdoors and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. There is plenty of room for the kids and dogs to play with a spacious well-manicured outdoor area. Help yourself to a fresh mandarin off the tree or trim some herbs from the garden for your home cooked dinner. There is also an outdoor shower that makes washing off the salt and sand easier than ever. The spacious yard is perfectly secure and fully-fenced to ensure your four-legged friends are safe and content. There is also a doggy door leading out to the outdoor space so your four-legged friend can come and go and they please.



    Bedroom 1 - Master Bedroom:

    This stylish bedroom features a plush king-sized bed, ducted AC, a ceiling-fan, plenty of wardrobe space, a smart TV and a luxurious ensuite. The ensuite is complete with a toilet, shower and vanity.



    Second Bedroom:

    Featuring a luxurious queen-sized bed, this bedroom features a built-in wardrobe, ducted AC, ceiling fan, and a coastal vibe as communicated through artwork, decorative cushions, and a throw.



    Third bedroom:

    Styled tastefully, the third bedroom features two single beds, a built-in wardrobe, ducted AC and a ceiling fan.



    Main Bathroom/Bathroom #2

    Treat yourself to a long, hot bath in this luxurious, newly renovated bathroom that also features a twin shower with adjustable jets and a large vanity.



    There is also a separate toilet.



    Guest Access:

    You will have access to the entire upstairs unit and the fully-fenced back yard. Please note the house itself is a shared property that is split between the upstairs unit (this listing you are currently on) and the downstairs unit . The downstairs is a separate, self-sufficient space that is also rented out as a holiday listing. If you have a larger group, this may be beneficial as you can book both units together. Each of the two self-contained units have fully secure, separate entries and there is sound proofing between each level.



    The Neighborhood:

    From the property, a very short stroll will take you straight to the sandy beaches of Shelly, Moffat and Kings beach, along with local shops, and cafes. Caloundra’s Bulcock St, markets and eateries are just over 1km away, making everything in easy walking distance. Those searching for the ultimate beach lifestyle need to search no further, this is the perfect relaxation destination for your next family holiday.



    Getting Around:

    This unit is within walking distance to many beaches, attractions, restaurants, and cafes.

    The closest beach (Shelly Beach) is 600m away (7-minute walk) and is great for a beach-walk, surfing, kite surfing or paddle boarding. Moffat Beach is only a 10-minute easy stroll and is a popular hang out with an incredible point break for surfing, a great beach for swimming and a lake that kids really love playing in.

    The home is central to lots of activities and attractions:

    Maroochydore airport is a 25-minute drive

    - Brisbane airport is a 65-minute drive

    - Australia Zoo is a 30-minute drive

    - Kawana Shopping World & Cinema is a 15-minute drive

    - Large new Sunshine Coast University hospital is a 10-minute drive

    - Mooloolaba/ Underwater World (Sea Life) is a 15-minute drive

    - Downtown Caloundra is a 5-minute drive

    *Pet-friendly for dogs, upon application - 2 maximum, a $50 per pet fee applies. Please reach out to us for pre-approval before booking. Please note we do not accept cats. Dogs are allowed inside but not to be on the beds, lounges, or other house furniture. No unattended dogs to be left indoors. Barking to be controlled indoors and at night. Most floor areas are polished timber floors, with minimal rugs or carpet areas. Guests will incur extra charges to repair any pet damage or stains.

Lovely suburban holiday home

Ten minutes walk to Moffat Beach and about seven minutes walk to Kings Beach. The home is beautiful presented with gorgeous local artwork in all rooms. Home offers two completely separate accommodation options. Our downstairs neighbours were quiet but smoked so the frint windows needed to be closed.
