The traffic on the main road was noisey. The taps in the bathroom needed washers and leaked when off. Staff were happy to address this when pointed out on departure. Even though I paid before occupying, the wrong surname was on my key, and if a person wasn't there already talking to a staff person to clarify which key was ours I'm not sure who I would contact as there were no staff. Very poor.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war toll, direkt am Wasser und alles einfach von hieraus zu erreichen. Die Anlage an sich ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind leider sehr hellhörig. Man konnte alles aus den anderen Häusern mit hören. Eigentlich ist die Lage sehr ruhig, weit ab vom Verkehrslärm aber leider ist direkt gegenüber eine Baustelle, daher hatten wir bis aufs Wochenende immer Baulärm. Dann kam hinzu dass dort gleich eine Bootrampe ist an der früh morgens ( ca. ab 6:00Uhr) die Boote zu Wasser gelassen wurden mit dem entsprechenden Lärm der Autos dazu. Und wir hatten das Pech, dass gleichzeitig mit uns zwei Jugendgruppen vor Ort waren. Die ständig kreuz und quer mit lauter Musik zu jeder Zeit übers Gelände gelaufen sind. Ruhe hatten wir also leider nicht. Sehr schade, da die gesamte Anlage wirklich sehr schön ist.

It is very lovely but a little old and doesn't match photos. But being on the water was relaxing.

Good place to stay but the only issue I would have is there was no iron in the unit. I realize it would be in the laundry but getting home late from work, it is the last thing I would want to go searching for. otherwise all good

Great place to stay so close to the Airport with Bonza flights. Only thing the air conditioner attached to the side of cabin vibrating while sleeping.

Convenient hub for family holofay however nothing to do within the grounds. Condition of cabins not as per photos. Run down. Dusty. Ladies in office are lovely and beds comfy and clean.

Convenient and clean.
This was a very convenient place to stay. Although a little dated the cabin was very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and fishing from our front garden area was good fun. We will stay here again when we visit.

The shower dripped all day and night. The air-conditioner needs a service. But otherwise it was clean, and staff very friendly. Would stay again.

Lovely setting on the river. Had some trouble with ants in the kitchen and lounge. Tv had next to no Chanel’s and nearly unwatchable reception.

A place to relax in garden setting
We could not have picked a better place to stay .Due to flight and taxi delays we arrived well past check in time but the two staff who stayed back for us were great .Welcomed us with big smiles and were very helpful , check in then was easy . Our one bedroom bungalow was st in a lovely tropical style garden and all bungalows spaced for privacy .A little bit like being in Bali or Fiji . Inside was well furnished with mini kitchen ,microwave ,toaster ,oven and fridge n freezer ,crockery for 4 and plenty of cooking ware . Very clean ,a little lounge area , bedroom and ensuite with plenty of hot water . Parking was close by bungalow . Whilst a more : up market " resort suits some we loved the fact that we had no noise from above [ furniture being move etc ] no corridoor noise or doors banging just peace and quiet . A car is an assett but a bus stop is outside on main road , yo do need a tranlink pass though .Hotel also just a short walk which is river front and bottle shop .. Did not stay in one as booked out but the river front bungalows looked Really good too . For general shopping we found the Bli Bli shopping centre handy , IGA .chemist , butchers etc etc .

Me and my husband loved that we could fish out the front of our 2 bedroom cabin. We stayed for 5 nights and the weather was perfect everyday. The cabin had everything you needed for a week plus stay and also having the laundromat a short stroll away.

Great location on the river, that couldn’t be better however the property is extremely old and run down. There is visible water damage in the bathroom, which was leaking during our stay, plug to the sink isn’t firm and all the water drains away before you can wash a cup, clothes rack is damaged and bent and can’t stand on its own, the dishes are so old the look dirty, hairs in the bed when we arrived and it could do with a proper clean. The state of the bathroom tiles were appalling. Was a great price for the stay, until you saw the cleanliness and quality within the bungalow

This was reasonable value for money, particularly during peak season. The accommodation was tidy and provided all kichen and bedding requirements however the bathroom was dated and not well maintained ie cracked tiles and frosted mirror. Lacked some privacy with closely nestled cabins you can hear your neighbours. The pool was in very close proximity to cabins which is great if it's your cabin, but felt like an invasion of privacy. The river is not particularly inviting for swimming but was ok for kayaking etc. The nearby hotel is walking distance with nice atmosphere overlooking the river. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi good speed and unlimited. The location was a good base and was only short drive to many surrounding places of interest.

Water at our doorstep, pub down the road , markets close on a Sunday , sea life around to feed and our cabin was really clean :)plus a massive shopping centre close by but it still feels when your there that your out of the Way of the hustle for relax time which I liked most :)oh and the gardens were lovely created privacy between cabins;)

We had an excellent stay, our bungalow was so well equipped and had everything we needed. Location was also fantastic and to be able to walk over to the waterfront hotel for a delicious meal was an added bonus. Would highly recommend Maroochy River Resort and Bungalows to everyone.

The noise policy needs to be reinforced because there were guests in the next unit that were up until 4.00 am on two of the 3 days that we were there. The units were in need of some general up keep and more comfortable chairs are needed instead of plastic out door chairs as both lounge and dining chairs.

Bad customer Service
Room was dirty and slightly out dated, the walls and kitchen felt quite greasy. But the biggest thing was honestly how rude the older reception lady was because we booked through hotels.com. I asked if they were still doing the two nights or more free kayak hire for the whole family. She said “No, you booked through Expedia so you only get to stay here. You aren’t entitled to anything else.” Which it didn’t say on their website that it was only for people booking direct. I really didn’t want to ruin the holiday anymore so I said nothing and went back to the room. But just because of this my family won’t be staying here again.

Great area but cabins need a good clean.
Friendly check in staff and I was sent a text message when my room was ready which was earlier than check in time. Upon arriving at my room there was a bundle of old dirty sheets etc on the chair of the porch. The bedside tables were filthy with sticky coffee stains with dust stuck to them. The bed was short. I'm short myself and my feet were going over the edge.
