"I feel bad that I have had to give a mix rating because I feel everything about our stay was going well until I suffered food poisoning. I woke up at 2am in a lot of pain and spent two hours in the bathroom vomiting. Earlier that day I had the king prawns and at dinner I had the flat iron steak. "Decent hotel that of course is going through some transformation at the moment. The room is on the small side. I stayed here for work and there isn’t even a desk and chair to do work from so I had to work from the bed which was not great. "

"We came for a family night away to celebrate a birthday and we really found the hotel to be relaxed and friendly from the minute we got there. Our room was clean and within minutes of checking in staff came in with a basket and bowls for our dog. We had a few drinks in the bar area that evening which was busy due to football but a great atmosphere. The breakfast was lovely and the choice was great. We used the gym and spa and found the staff in the golf shop all to be extremely friendly...
