"Super beautiful mansion the decoration was so tasteful and beautiful, super clean and the breakfast is included where you can order off of the menu and everything was good very home coutry cooking. The staff is great and friendly and helpful. There is a train that goes by but not to often and is no bother when your room and amenities make up for it. I would recommend this place 💯 . Why stay in a chain hotel when you can stay at a unique bed in breakfast that transport you to the 40s and 50s....

But there is a BIG BUT…we stay in the siege room because we didn’t want to spend that much because we were arriving late, and it’s was just a night and we were planning to wake up early ande leave because we had a long drive home, so that said… I would definitely stay here again but I would never book the siege room…you don’t have privacy, you enter the room through the kitchen so you feel a little bit awkward,...

"The pictures do not accurately represent this place nor do the other reviews. There were three big issues. The first is that the beds are extremely firm, old, and uncomfortable. The second is that in one of our rooms that faced the street there were no curtains or blinds, so zero privacy. There was also a rolled up, dusty giant rug in the corner of a room. "This is a charming old inn in a convenient location. It doesn’t have many amenities but it was fine for the price. It was very convenient to have a code for the rooms as opposed to a key. There was coffee on site but not breakfast. We found out on our second day that we could get a voucher for breakfast at a local restaurant. I wish I had known the first morning we were there. The rooms are small but fine for 2 days. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, but we really enjoyed staying there."
