"This was my second stay here at Meadow view Cottage. Beautiful garden with a great place to sit at the end to chill with a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Plenty of pubs to choose from, a great Indian restaurant (Onion Bhaji) and a great walk from Long Melford to Sudbury along the tree lined disused old railway track."

"Lovely old cottage, furnished well with a nice kitchen having everything you need for eating in (except for a sieve or collander). Clay tiles on ground floor make the floor cold so bring slippers in low season. Some very low beams so tall people beware. Couldn't light the gas fire though. Surprised to find slow-moving bees on window sills or on floor each day when returning from day out."

"Our third time in this cosy cottage. As before, everything was perfect. The cottage is comfortable with a big garden, very well equipped and located conveniently close to a train station (Dullingham) for visits to Cambridge etc. We also enjoyed a dinner in the local pub, The Bull, and long walks in the area. People here are really friendly and welcoming. A big Thank You to Robbie for being such a great host! We enjoyed our stay a lot, and will be back."

Suzanne and John were really thoughtful in sharing that there was unexpected roadwork outside the cottage, giving us the opportunity to find another place to stay but we decided to go ahead and are so glad that we did. "We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous stay at Harkstead Hall. The house is beautiful. Spacious and has absolutely everything you need for a fun stay with friends. The location is perfect; close enough to town to walk to the shops, cafes and restaurants, but off the main road for peace and quiet.
