"Had a great week at this spot! We were looking for a getaway away from people and more in nature and this definitely offered that. It's a pretty minimal setup. There's no running water on site (the pump water isn't drinkable), so make sure to bring some extra water for your stay. There was water there in a few jugs, but we found it helpful to have bottled water to put in the mini fridge. Otherwise, everything was as pictured and very comfortable. Thank you for a great stay!"

"We had a blast at the cabin! The location was awesome. It was super quiet. We took full advantage of the Lily Pad, and had a lot of fun on the pontoon. We spotted swans, loons, and 2 eagles right outside the windows of the cabin. We highly recommend two restaurants, McGregor Baking Company for delicious treats and sandwiches/salads, and The Craft House for anything on the menu. There were plenty of games and books for young kids, and paper/markers for creating artworks."

"We had a great time here.There was plenty of room for our 2 families, indoor and outdoor. Enjoyed all the water toys they provided, that was a big plus. Fishing was good, catching crappies, northern, large mouth bass. Nice quiet lake.Plenty of wood for campfires and beautiful sauna provided. Pictures are exactly what you get.There are toys and games for the kids also.We will be back next summer!"

"This was an incredible stay for my family and I. Perfect in every way - I highly recommend it!Sammie has considered everything for a relaxing stay at the lake. We had prompt and positive communications with our host. It is charming, quaint, quiet, beautiful, clean and peaceful. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you need. The kayaks are a great addition and so fun to paddle around the bay. The bunkhouse and fire pit are lovely. We will be back! "

"We went back and forth about booking due to the reviews and I’m so glad we just went ahead and booked. It’s definitely a good old northern cabin on the lake, outdated, and some spider webs. But, the lake was nice, nice dock, fire pit cozy, beds were comfy and we had a great time! Would definitely rebook if we find ourselves in the area again."

"This place was beautiful! We will definitely be back!! We stayed in the octagon and had an amazing time. The owners were great to work with. We ran into bad weather on our way up there and communicated that to them and they arranged a way for us to get the key. Will be back!! Def for a longer stay!"

"Very easy to check in and out. Communication was great. Having the water toys on site was awesome - saved us from having to bring our own. Nice clean little lake. Loved the golf course being so close. Neighbors were a little closer than we expected based on pictures, but everyone was nice. Cabin size was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teenage kids. Beds were comfortable and cabin was stocked well. I would imagine this cabin would be lovely during the winter months also. We enjoyed a very relaxing...

"This was a wonderful location for our annual sister's retreat! The lake provided beautiful views and kept the anglers happy feeding the fish. We visited the county fair, Moose Lake State Park and the fire museum. The road leading to the house was ideal for agate hunting and we even saw deer early in the morning!
