Clean, well-equiped property. Great amenities! The dock was amazing. There is plenty of yard for backyard activities and the deck has ample seating with AMAZING views. The whole area is very tranquil, inviting, and relaxing.We plan to come back soon!Note to potential renters: the inside stairs are very steep. They are safe, sturdy, and have rails.. but could be daunting for anyone with any mobility or vertigo concerns. There is a downstairs bedroom so you don't have to go up. But 3 of the bedrooms are up there.

Lovely weekend getaway!

Heidaway cottage was the perfect place for a quick weekend retreat! Ease of location and walk-in clean and friendly welcome were the best features to note. We had no issues during our stay and would be happy to return. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Our stay

We had some issues checking in but we eventually were able to get in. The house was stocked and clean. Beautiful views. We did have some issues with the plumbing as well. Overall we had a great stay. Would recommend.

Excellent Door County Getaway

Our group of 8 (6 adults, 2 children) enjoyed our time on the property. It is situated facing west on Green Bay, so we had multiple exceptional sunsets sitting by the campfire. Everything was to our liking, and the proximity to Sturgeon Bay was great to get supplies and enjoy the offerings of the town. Thank you for hosting us!

Lovely Property Just As Described

The listing very accurately reflects the property. The house was very nice, the furniture was very comfortable and clean, and the shoreline was beautiful. We even had a small fire in the fire ring. We all agreed we would stay there again if we were in the area.

Beautiful view, bird watching and star gazing amazing.

Overall it was a great place. We found some dirty dishes. Makes it hard to eat without washing everything. A throw pillow smelled bad. I left a note on it and placed it on the washer. Previous visitors should have done this. I am not sure when the cleaning crew had been there. We spent a lot of time making the deck and outdoor furniture able to use. The grill had burnt food. We did not use it at all. Cleaning fee was pretty steep for what we did when we got there. One set of sheets smelled musty like they had been left in the washer for days, then dried and put on the bed. This is a nice place. I would still recommend it. Cleaning crew needs to visit prior to occupancy.

Get away with co-workers

It was amazing beautiful property. Right on Lake Michigan. I arranged it. So I got to choose my sleeping quart but I chose the couch. Because the sound of the lake was incredible at night. The house was very clean and updated. We all loved everything about it. Would highly recommend

Lovely getaway

We had a wonderful time at this home. It was clean, well stocked, and has so many things to keep our kids busy. We loved the kayaks, standup paddle boards, doc, ping pong table, and relaxing by the fire at night. We would gladly return!

Great place for gathering!

We enjoyed our stay at the rental! The beautiful breeze off Lake Michigan into the home, the long dock over the water, and the peaceful neighborhood were pieces to a beautiful stay. The home itself provided seating options to sit, eat, and gather. Our group was well accommodated with the ammentities provided. The location has great access to all that Door County has to offer.
