Beautiful property and location! Very peaceful. Cleanliness was not the best in certain areas- bugs, dust, and cobwebs in a lot of corners and on the windows and light fixtures. I asked for check in information and a code the night before the stay, and the communication with the host was just ok. We ran the AC because it was so humid, but it didn’t work very well or get to the back room. Thankfully it was cool at night and we didn’t need it. I booked this place because it had a hot tub as well, but it seemed to have that wiped from the listing info after I booked. I messaged about it and was told it was an additional fee. I’m glad I asked about it because we thought the hot tub was gone. We had a 14 month old with us and the pack n play just barely fits in the room with the bunks!

Perfect spot, great additions for vacation (kayak, games, etc)

We had two couples and a toddler stay here, and it was a wonderful place. You can hear the water when you wake up and see it out the beautiful floor to ceiling windows. The place had everything we needed to make the vacation run smoothly - high chair, pack and play, plenty pots, pans, and dishes. We loved that there was a picnic table, grill, hammock, kayak, and water boards. We hope to stay again!

Thanksgiving vacation

Loved the coziness of the cabin with a fire going every morning. The lake view is amazing…loved watching the sunrise every morning with our babies early wake up! The queen bed wasn’t the most comfortable but everything else about the place was great.

West Shore of Lake Michigan

Although extremely brief due to a family emergency back in Michigan; we enjoyed the peace and serenity of this property. The manager was ever so responsive and kind. We will be back for our full stay when we can make it work

Perfect getaway with dogs

We loved our stay. More than us, our dog, Milo loved the stay! Coming from Chicago during 4th of July weekend, the calmness of private lake space was just the best for our dog. The bedrooms are slightly tight, but honestly the lake makes up for anything else.

Return to Peace of Beach

It was wonderful to return to Peace of Beach to enjoy it in the summertime, after our first visit last autumn. We swam, paddle boarded, biked, hiked, grilled out, and had awesome evening fires every night. Our dogs loved it too. Thank you for sharing this special place with us. It was perfect for my Mom’s 82nd b-day!

Just perfect

A beautiful cabin that was just the right size for me my spouse and our dog for a thanksgiving on the lake. We loved watching sunrises and sunsets over the water and fires in the fire place every night. The place was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed.

Magical Peace of Beach

This property had all we were seeking in a getaway. It’s on the lake so we saw awesome sunrises every morning. It had a huge fireplace that we took advantage of every evening. It allowed our two well-behaved dogs to attend. We also had lovely and sunny 60 degree days at the end of October. Perfect!

We absolutely loved this property! It was the perfect relaxing and peaceful vacation we were looking for. The property is clean and well kept. What a location!

Right on the lake, a short bike ride from the lighthouses, kayaks available, great yard, and privacy. Also close enough to Sturgeon Bay and stores to make it an easy time for dining in and out.

4th Family Fun

Peace of Beach is the perfect place to stay for a small family vacation in Door County. The house has a cozy cabin feel with all the amenities. The property is quiet and private. The house is steps from the water, with a large side yard for kids to play. The location is away from the hustle and bustle but still driveable to all the northern DC towns, and only a few minutes from downtown Sturgeon Bay. Some of our family's favorite things about the house were watching the sunrises on the porch, having campfires by the water, sleeping in the big bunk beds, and the amazing lake views from the big windows in the living room.

Relaxing getaway!

What a wonderful 1st time experience in Door County. Peace of Beach felt so comfortable & relaxing from the minute we opened the door. And where could there be a better view! Our 2 dogs felt right at home too. Can't thank you enough for sharing! Gonna be very hard to top! Gene & Merrie

Cozy, charming cabin!

My family of 4 and our dog spent 3 nights here. Though the weather was lousy, we LOVED watching the waves from the big windows and comfy couches and recliners in the living room. It was incredibly peaceful. We watched movies and played games and really enjoyed each other's company. We found the bedrooms to be comfortable (thank you for the blackout curtains and fans in both rooms!!) and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We definitely want to come back!

Beautiful Peace of Beach!

We had a wonderful time at this property. It is the perfect cozy cabin on the lake. We came in late March and especially enjoyed watching the lake and sunrise as we sat by the fireplace. We got out for a few great hikes too. Cave Point County Park was pretty amazing. The kids loved the bunkbed and playing on the rocks. S'mores were enjoyed, of course. We can't wait to come back. It would be beautiful during any season!

Funky small digs with some annoyances and a fantastic view.

If you're looking for a funky little cabin right next to the lake, then this is it. It's not spacious, just fine for 2 or 2 adults and 2 kids <12. There is a gun and rod club about a mile away. So plan on hearing gun shots (lots of gunshots) esp. in the late afternoon-early evening. TV is WAY high on the lakeside wall (above doors outside). SO back-light makes it hard to watch during the day. AND you will be looking WAY up. Not that TV should be a priority on vacation. Fireplace MUST have the (loud) flu-fan on otherwise it will get pretty smoky inside.
