The web page said there was a restaurant on the property. When we arrived, we were told there was not and the web had not been updated. That was important for us. we would have gone to another hotel if we had known. Also, housekeeping only cleans the room every three days while you stay there. They should at least get the trash and see if you need anything.

Even though I was aware this hotel was a little rough around the edges, I figured it would be a good value because of the hot tub and restaurant. Both were closed. It does have a nice lake view. Staff was very friendly.

The property has seen better days. Our room had several things broken from the lock on the door to the remote for the TV. There were no restaurants on site and the hot tub in the online pictures was gone.

So many negatives, from the broken glass "Blunt" vial and tortilla chips in the sofa bed, to the peeling paint and general shoddiness of the room. We couldn't pull out the sofa bed without rearranging the furniture, so my daughter slept in the sofa mattress on the floor. When I pulled the handle to close the sink drain, the top of it fell off. The bathroom had no fan or even a soap dish. The "Queen" bed was a full size (hence the kid on the floor), and the clock want even set correctly. There were no chairs for the balcony, and there was literally no one in the bar and grill - no servers, no bartenders, no customers, despite it being open. An adult only swim hour would be nice for anyone wanting to avoid the echoes of screaming children. Lots of adults sitting around drinking beer in the pool area. Little things like the front doors not being automated and opening out, so good luck getting inside if you're dealing with luggage. Frankly the Motel 8 down the street would have been a better choice, and I'll be shocked if we don't bring home bedbugs. Joe checked us in at the front desk, and he was wonderful. He was just about the only saving grace.

Staff wasn’t that friendly. Wouldn’t give me a receipt for my stay since I booked on Expedia. First room they gave us was not clean and the bed was old. They put us there because we booked online.

The staff was amazing and so welcoming. It is an older hotel with h lots of charm. Of course there are some updates that could happen, but it did not impact our stay. We had so much fun! The pool area was fantastic

Rooms alert barely “clean” and the bathroom was disgusting . Water pressure was non existent and water temps were fluctuating from warm to cold to scolding hot during the 2 min shower I tried to take. The balcony looked so old and rotted I dared not to try to stand on it. Over all I would not stay here again.

The room I got during my stay smelled bad, I didn’t feel safe as the lock hinges were loose and the security pole on the door was also loose, and the beds were really uncomfortable that creaked all night long. The pool was pretty neat, tho there used to be a hot tub that is now gone so that was a bummer but I think that for being such an expensive hotel the rooms need major upgrades.

It was really nice, the employees were nice, the pool area was beautiful, they helped out with everything we asked for! I loved it I would definitely go again. The only bad thing I would say is that it was “quiet time” after 10. I believe on the weekend having a ten clock curfew while your on vacation time is a little ridiculous…

We went on a girls getaway and was looking forward to the pool and hot tub. Apparently they have not had a hot tub in years despite the pictures on the website. No fault of the hotel but there was a dance competition and the pool was filled with kids. They are doing outside renovations but found it creepy that a ladder was leaning against our back deck. No lock on the slider except for a bar. Dining was limited and the coffee I asked for at the bar not hot. Rooms very dated

The property did not look like the photos, amenities need to be updated there was no balcony or patio attached to our deluxe room, as pictured on the booking website. Disappointed in the lack of food in house which was stated would be available, it was stated when booking breakfast would be available from 8-11 at an additional cost, we had to leave the hotel which was disappointing. Also stated was a snack /deli this location had only vending machines. The pool temperature was not comfortable, nor was there a hot tub as described on the amenities on the booking site. Unfortunately our family will not be returning for a stay at this location.

No the same as it used to be.
Not clean. Found items left behind by orher guests...things just barely under the bed and in the couch cushions (including whipped cream cartridge which no doubt was used for recreational use), left over toiletries in the shower. Very musty smelling. Water leaks in shower and near the ac/heat unit. No working phone in the room but maintenance was very quick to fix it so that was appreciated. The grounds were horrible. Trees down across walkways, construction materisls laid in piles in the grass, outside of building covered in green. We really looked for the good in the place (had our wedding there 10+ years ago and it was dated then but well kept and charming), but it was hard to find something. We had no pillows on the pull out sofa, asked for some and were told they had none. Eventually, staff decided to go into a vacant room and gave us those. Restaurant/ breakfast no longer open... theres a coffe machine tucked away in the lobby but no coffee to be found. We didn't ask for some because at that point, we were just over it. I really hope the owners put money into upgrades and upkeep because this place could be great again.

The price was right.
The staff is kind and so very helpful. Hotel is poorly maintained. The indoor pool was freezing. Restaurant was closed because of staffing issues. Luckily the location is very walkable for McDonalds, Burger King, and several other restaurants.

The hotel is rather dilapidated which was surprising. Our room with two double beds (there were four of us) was still not ready at their check in time of 4pm. All they could do was switch us to a room with one king bed and offer a cot. We asked for two cots which they delivered. But these things probably were used in WWII they were so ancient and uncomfortable. They also came with just sheets and one ancient flimsy blanket. But we had an event to be at in a half hour so didn’t have time to wait for our real room. Come bedtime, one of us was chilly. We went to call down to the desk to ask for another blanket and realized our phone wasn’t plugged in. Nor was there a port ANYwhere to be found to plug it in. So I walked the maze up to the desk to ask. I was informed that the hotel did not have any blankets to give. They were all in use. That’s right. Every single one. But I was instead offered more towels to use as blankets. Come check out, there wasn’t even a supervisor present to speak with (I overheard the woman in front of me also complaining and she was told the supervisor conveniently comes in at 11, after checkout time). So I didn’t bother. We didn’t get any offers of money off or anything else. It was rough. Don’t stay here.
