"This place is a perfect destination if you are looking for peace and quiet. We had 4 generations ranging from 9yrs old to 70yrs old. The owner is very kind and accomodating as he wants you to have a great stay. He is fairly quick to respond when needed and checks to make sure all is well. (but isn't annoying) We didn't want to leave! "

"This property has everything you can imagine(except a swimming pool). But no matter, lots of space for large groups to share thoughts and meals. Private spaces for personal conversations or just to think alone. The huge kitchen allows your group to help with meals easily. Close to downtown and groceries. Couldn’t have wished for a better place for our family to get together without a worry or a care.Grateful!"

"Beautiful property - better than advertised! Our stay was peaceful and quiet, and we loved the owners' access to the hiking trail right though their backyard. The place was spotless, with great water pressure and comfortable bed, and the kitchenette had what we needed so we could stay there and make all our meals. The owners were friendly and very quick to help when we asked a question, but also very much gave us our privacy for our quiet weekend."

"We stayed here on a trip for the Knoxville Nationals. Went to the John Wayne Museum, seen the bridges. The house is a nice house, met many locals at the pharmacy-resturaunt in the square downtown, very friendly, ate at several other local spots, all good service and food. The area is quiet and the house in great shape, clean, had plenty of towels and comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend if you need a place in this area. "

"Our stay at this charming Vrbo house, built in the early 1900s, was a delightful experience. The historic character of the home added a unique touch, with its vintage architecture and cozy ambiance. The house was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. "I and my family were quite impressed with the property. We have stayed at several short term rentals in the past and this one has been our favorite. From the very nice and spacious house that allowed adults and kids to sleep comfortably to the spacious outside space that gave us room to play and enjoy the nice spring weather it was all fabulous. If we have the need to stay in the area again I absolutely would use Timberpine Lodge again."
