"I booked one nights stay as my daughter and I were at Badminton Horse Trials. I had not researched the location before going so was amazed to enter the beautiful village of Lacock. The whole place is unique and the property is so beautiful. We were met by our hosts Rufus and his wife and they could not have been more welcoming. "I was kept away by noisy guest in the hall until 1 am. My door (room 138) showed signs of having recently been kicked, the fan was covered in dust, the bed (two single beds jammed together was uncomfortable and there were holes in the wall, very different in appearance to that shown in the photos. The guy at reception was fine, when he was there. Cheap but not that cheap enough at EUR 69.34 for the night. I regret booking this hotel aed but you may have a better experience if you are late...
