"This house needs work. One night a window broke and kept us awake. The next night the spouting banged against the house for hours. Some of the doors and door knobs don’t work properly. The host clearly knew the lock box wasn’t working, but hadn’t fixed it or told us before we arrived. We had to wait about a half hour before the issue was resolved. "Our family spent 2 nights at the Hemlock. Franklin was extremely hospitable and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. It is an absolutely beautiful property that is very well kept. It was 10 out of 10 clean when we arrived. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking essentials as well as coffe and tea. There were plenty of towels stocked by the door that lead to the hot tub. Main level and upper level washer and dryer with all the details of a comfortable stay...

"This property was perfect for our family, kids, grandkids to stay while we attended a wedding in the area. The kitchen was stocked incredibly well, including fresh milk in and water bottles in the refrigerator, and cereal, granola bars and oatmeal packets. There were also k cups available. Our host, Jon, has obviously taken time to consider the needs of his guests who stay on his property. We walked to the farmstand next door where they had fresh eggs, really good coffee and beautiful plants...

"Clean, spacious rooms to sleep, in quiet neighborhood. Did not like going up front door steps (no handrail) but found parking in back and would enter and leave that way. LOVED the security light that lit our way to the door. Wished all the bedrooms had a window air conditioner or ceiling fan as it did get warm.
