The container was exactly as advertised. Quiet, set back from the road, and private. We were still very close to the restaurant that we ordered takeout from. Check in and out was super easy. The hot tub was amazing. Everything was clean. Host has her phone number written down so you can call if you have any problems.

I came alone to relax/destress for awhile and sew. I have only two small issues......the noise from the road. I know you can't help that. The other is a tv. I don't have one at home so I was kinda bummed to not see one there. Love the style. Overall it was an awesome experience. I look forward to next year.

What a wonderful place! I needed a few days away and this was perfect for me. I spent the first night watching the meteor shower from the hot tub and then a lovely nights sleep at this quiet property. The host was very responsive and had such great suggestions for local spots to visit. The driveway is steep, as described, but was easily drivable in ny suv. Cant wait to return!

We stayed one evening so we could attend the ALIVE fest at Atwood lake which is near by the property. The place was just as pictured and described in the listing. We had a great time. It was just what we needed.

A nice, quiet getaway if you like solitude. The container was clean and had pretty much anything you would need. Linens and towels were furnished which was nice.We spent a couple of hours in the hot tub and had a nice time. Perfect for watching stars on a clear night. If you rely on your cell phone, I would recommend adding the Wi-Fi as we had no reception.My only small issue was that the outdoor chair cushions need to be replaced.

My Mom, her dog, and I had a wonderful stay at the shipping container. It was such a peaceful place to spend a night on our cross country road trip. When we travel, we look for places that are a bit isolated, have running water, and are near cool spots to go for walks. This property met all of our criteria and was beautiful on top of it!

Much Needed Peaceful Escape

This was my first time using VRBO, and it did not disappoint! Ryann's property is amazing! The hot tub is perfect for chilly evenings and mornings! The firepit is awesome for bonfires! LOVED the hot dog and smores cooker for the fire! Everything is so well thought out here. The design is unique and fun, I loved the bicycle theme! WiFi worked great and firewood delivery was much appreciated! Incredible nature views/sounds! You are very close to a busy main road with loud traffic, but it didnt bother us too much. Nearby is Dover Dam and Towpath Trails, both were nice to visit. Also visited Dundee Falls and Cafe 93. Hog Heaven BBQ delivers! Dinner from there was fantastic! Highly recommended if youre looking for something unique, semi secluded, and hospitable! Thanks Ryann!

Quiet and good views

My wife and I had a great time on our 1 year anniversary. Quiet and easy to get to. Just make sure your traction is good because once you are up the hill where the stay is, it could be difficult to navigate in the dark with a winding route surrounded by rocks.

Awesome getaway spot

Me and my wife came to unplug and spend time alone, and this place provided just that: very comfortable location for 2 people, off the grid, but very close to New Philadelphia. The container home is beautiful and very comfortable, the hot tub is perfect and we lit the bonfire and watched the flames melt all the worries away. Awesome relaxing experience.

We really enjoyed our two-night stay! The place looked exactly like the pictures, and the owner was great at communicating. There were plenty of fun things to do nearby. One note for those with sensitive skin—be cautious with the hot tub, as I experienced a chlorine rash (though my boyfriend had no issues). At least you know it’s clean! Overall, a fantastic stay, and we’d definitely recommend it.

Cozy Comfy Wilderness

Riverside Hideout is a cute, tidy, and unique stay nestled in the woods. It was a perfect way to “unplug” with limited service, no wifi (although you can choose to have it), and plenty of games, coloring books, books, AND a hot tub to fill your time!

Very beautiful scenery. Shopping, food, adventures were all close by. The driveway was a little bit suspicious but the host, Ryann did warn us about that and we were prepared with 4w drive.
