"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is gorgeous and well appointed. We only stayed two nights and weren't interested in cooking for ourselves, but had we wanted to, the kitchen would have been perfect for it. Highly recommend for a quiet place to stay that's a quick drive to town."

"A beautiful cabin surrounded in rich, forest with hiking trails. The property located is tucked away, which makes you feel secluded. Its an amazing and calm experience. The other campers were kind and said hello, when passing by. Fresh food markets nearby. Great nearby cities for more exploration. This was the best and safest experience in a cabin. The maintenance and upkeep is noticeable and I felt special staying in this cabin. This was an epic time away from home. Thank you. "

"The first floor has been remodeled and has up-to-date appliances. The second floor has spacious bedrooms. The bathroom is a little small.We enjoyed having the indoor pool and fire pit.The owner was quick to respond to emails."

"Awesome experience "

"The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!"

"It was great! Just what we needed."

"This place was absolutely perfect for our family with small kids. Plenty of space to run around. So close to bass harbor. "

"The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden...

"The house was very clean and the owners took great care to ensure their property was taken care of by guests, too. The view from the waterfront side of the house was excellent. The communication and response time from the host was exceptional. "

"Strongly recommended if you visit Acadia. I have spent very nice days there even with rainy and foggy days outside. All my family was impressed for the great house and facilities we found there. Thanks Shelley for doing things so easy We are living very far away (Spain) but if we have the opportunity we'll come back to your house."

"Great communication by host. This location was prefect since it was close to everything without being too touristy. I will definitely stay here again "

"We loved this property—private, wooded, clean, and big enough to host six family members.While staying here, we read books on the deck and enjoyed the tree-line view and bay in the distance. Several of the sunsets were beautiful. And we did see several deer on two occasions."

The place is impressively well equipped with appliances and conveniences. "Pasamos una noche de Camino a Bar Harbour. La habitación es amplia con camas cómodas y firmes. Amenities en el baño. El desayuno es correcto con fruta, lácteos, cereales y salchichas. El parking es gratuito y si have bueno encienden el fuego en el jardín para hacer s'mores. Muy amables"
