"I had a great stay at the Peaceful Getaway in Sedgwick. Listing was just as described. Very cute and clean tiny home with everything an individual or couple might need. Beautiful spot to relax, and close to Blue Hill and other wonderful areas. (I recommend a walk through the Harriman Point Preserve in nearby Brooklin.) Check-in process was great, and although the main house is nearby it felt very private. I highly recommend this spot. "

"The cottage was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable, We really enjoyed and made good use of the fire pit. It was all set up and ready to light. Southwest Harbor is my favorite place to stay on the island. It is much less touristy than Bar Harbor but still has some good dining options as well as a nice coffee shop. We had a great stay."

"Strongly recommended if you visit Acadia. I have spent very nice days there even with rainy and foggy days outside. All my family was impressed for the great house and facilities we found there. "This is a charming, rustic property in a lovely setting and extremely quiet and peaceful! Our host Carol is wonderful, very thoughtful and helpful a truly lovely person! She shares great recommendations for hiking, fun places to get almost any kind of food you may be craving. This is not a fancy cottage, it's absolutely perfect for relaxing and is a perfect location for hiking and exploring. The stairs are very steep and the old fashioned claw foot tub with shower needs to be navigated...

"The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden...

"This is a beautiful cabin on an island off the coast of Maine. The cabin is beautiful inside and out. The owner did a good job of getting us into the property on our arrival day. If you want a quiet, relaxing place, this is for you. Do be prepared for an expensive ferry ride to and from the island. 60.00 round trip for me and my wife."

"The house had plenty of room for family of 4, very cozy beds and within minutes of Thurstens and Seafood Ketch. Close to Southwest Harbor for breakfast and dinner. We loved Acadia and all it had to offer and enjoyed the quiet when we returned to home base for game night and movies. Dining area and two living rooms enabled the family to enjoy all the comforts of home. Our dog was welcomed too. I vowed not to cook this holiday but saw there was a well equipped kitchen and laundry if needed. "
