"The location was great to walk to almost everything. Was able to take a trolley to the park for a tour which we would highly recommend. The room was very clean. Shower was great lots of pressure. The gifts that were left in the place was very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend for anyone we know coming to Maine - bar harbor. "

"The location was perfect. The house was clean, well equipped and more than enough room for 7 adults.we really enjoyed our stay!"

"In one word AMAZING! We rented this property to gather our immediate family, adult children and grandchildren. We had a tragedy in our family as my oldest son was killed, this made our once close family, split apart. This property was so beautiful and such a happy place to be that my prayers were answered my family began the healing process. The location and the views one could not be unhappy. Thank you Jason for helping to make the stay amazing!"

"The location is quite a walk from the pier, but it is directly on the ocean. The parking is horrible.The room was not very clean. I cleaned the air conditioner because it was pushing out dust,etc.We will never stay here again."

"We Sandpiper Cottage. Everything was just perfect. Our hosts really thought of everything! Location was great, close to town and beach. It was the two of us and my pup. There’s even a dog park close by. We loved it and will definitely return!! "

"Great stay overall! Approximately a 15 minute drive into the city in a quiet neighborhood. There were a few amenities in the room that were nice even if the kitchen wasn't available (a few plates/mugs, microwave, fridge). There was also complimentary snacks, candy, and water upon our arrival which was a nice touch. Do note that you will share the house with the host, but your room will have a separate lock.Great option for a cozy spot to rest after fun adventures in Portland! "

Unfortunately, with only a one-night stay, the late check-in (4p) and early checkout (10a) felt a bit rushed. It would be best enjoyed with more nights, or a slightly later checkout. "This property was ideal for our needs of 10 people ages 25-96 from 5 states. Beautiful beach location with enough space for fun, common areas and comfortable, private space for everyone including private baths.The hot-tub photo on the website should be deleted as that does not exist and a few details need attention such as waste baskets in bathrooms and bedrooms, kitchen towels, etc but overall well stocked and functional. Would recommend and hope to visit again if we need space for a large...

"We love the location! Could walk to so many Places, shops and restaurants. The house held all of us comfortably. Our whole family could be in one place for a whole week!! It was the best!"
