We had a wonderful time over there and we hope to come back soon! The best B&B ever. Laundry service is just 3-4 minute walk, which is very convenient, too.

Lovely apartment conveniently located

Perfect stay for a fun Portland weekend

Nikoline's home was a great home base for a fun weekend exploring downtown Portland. Super clean, well-furnished and in a great location just a short walk away from lots of cool restaurants and bars in Old Port.Nikoline was very friendly and responsive. Looking forward to going back and staying again for another Portland adventure.

Great location!

The location was the shining star, but the very comfortable mattresses and Maine style were perfect as well! The host was very responsive and texted us to make sure we were doing well. It was very clean too!

Nice place to stay

We enjoyed staying in Portland at this rental. It was clean, well kept, and everything we needed was available. Walking distance to downtown.

Perfect Location - Classic Apartment

Started with a simple checkin following a long and late flight. Place was clean with plenty of towels and comfortable beds. We walked everywhere except the train station. Loved the location.

Nice Portland Stay

Nice quiet two bedroom apartment. Great location, easy access to all the hotspots. Only complaint would be the barn doors, especially for the bathroom. Limited privacy when sharing with two couples, but it was doable. Overall very nice.

Fantastic stay!

I planned a 30th birthday surprise trip to Portland for my partner with his best friend and his fiancée. The four of us had a wonderful time staying at Kathy’s apartment - it is a perfect location on a quiet, cute neighborhood block, easy walking to the East end promenade and into the city, and we thoroughly enjoyed hanging out together and playing board games in the communal spaces. Great aesthetic and ambiance, too! I would definitely stay here again!

Bel appartement, très central

Nous avons eu un excellent séjour. L'appartement est propre et magnifique. Il y avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin. L'appartement est à moins de 15 minutes de marche de tout dans Portland, c'est génial! On a beaucoup aimé et nous envisagerons de re-louer cet appartement lorsque nous reviendrons à Portland. Merci beaucoup pour le bel accueil!

Fantastic East End Location

We stayed on the 2nd floor of this three floor building and loved it. Location is close to anything you could want including restaurants and local activities. The thing that made it stand out is the owner, Kathy. She’s friendly, communicative, and works to make sure her guests have a great experience. Would stay here again anytime! Thanks, Kathy. 🙂

Girlfriend get-together

My girlfriends and I got together for several days in Portland. This place was perfect for us. It provided us enough space and comfortable beds. The apartment was stocked well. We liked the neighborhood and felt safe. We were able to walk to most places. The few things we would recommend: the hall is prone to slips and needs something. Also the door to the bathroom is awkward with gaps. We were girlfriends and ok with each other but if we were mixed company this would not be ok. We would rent again. Thank you

Good location - steep stairs

Portland is very expensive and the pricetag for this unit was one of the attractions. It worked reasonably well for our brief stay, but the house is very old and stairs quite steep. Not idea for individuals whose mobility is not at peak levels. The location is good, but also presented a bit of a challenge for my husband and me - steep hills. Furnishings could use a refresh. Communications with property manager were excellent. Really appreciated the flexibility on check-in time.

Portland 2 bedroom

Overall ok but the linens and bed covers were old, frayed etc. We used the living room futon for guest #3 (it’s old and pleather) and found linens and a coverlet for it balled up on the floor in a closet, yuk, and the wrong size for it. Management did bring over replacements that evening. Hopefully new sheets and coverlets appear before the next rental. Be aware of all the stairs (2nd floor) if you have to drag suitcases up and down. And you have to stack cars for parking in the driveway by coordinating with other guests so there’s that. But if you’re in ok shape walking to town is ok but hilly.

Quite and close

This was the perfect place for us. 5 minute walk puts you in the middle of everything. Very quite neighborhood and great old home. Slept like a baby!
