  • Fern Spring Cabin

    Welcome to our cabin. As you move down the driveway, you will see stone walls, and rock landscaping. The cabin is nestled among the trees. The atmosphere we have attempted to create is one of peace and solitude. Solitude is refreshing; an opportunity to renew ourselves. Solitude helps us to appreciate things in life that we may have taken for granted; the friends, the past, memories.

    We invite you to enjoy our wrap around porch, view nature at its best. Sit around the fire ring and relax. Indoor furnishings include furniture and kitchen cabinets made from Grandpa's barn. Feel free to take a walk on our cow-path road, and see our truly Amish country setting.

    If eating out and shopping are on your list, East Main Kitchen in Baltic (10 minutes away) will satisfy your appetite. Sugarcreek, home of the world's largest cuckoo clock is fifteen minutes away. Berlin (30 minutes ) will allow you to shop till you drop.

This was our 2nd time staying at Fern Cabin, we love the location, it's quite with beautiful grounds. The porch is our favorite, lots of birds. We plan on coming back.

What a little slice of heaven tucked away in the wood not too far from the little village of Baltic. The front entry is stunning, and the porch wraps around with many choices for seating. Inside, it is wonderfully clean, warm, cozy, and well decorated. The property is so peaceful and quiet, and the hot tub was wonderful after a day of travel and/or activity. You can tell that a lot of thought went into this cabin. The hosts even had nightlights to help us see in the dark in the unfamiliar surroundings, plus other thoughtful touches. Deer came and watched us as we sat on the porch. The fire pit looked inviting, but there was not enough time to go and sit since we were only there 2 nights and had to leave early in the morning. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We loved being there, and look forward to another stay if we need a place next time we stay in Amish Country.

Perfect spot for a getaway for our little family. We felt very at home and loved the cabin and it's decor. We are porch people so that was easily a highlight of our stay as we were blessed with a warm sunny day. Thanks for sharing your space!

This is our second visit to Fern Spring Cabin. We visited there for our anniversary. The cabin is so peaceful and quiet. Everything you need is there. Just bring yourself. We will return!!
