"Pretty run down. We spent a few hours there. Got at 1:30 at night. Got room with only 1 bed (4 people). They were nice and fixed the problem in 10 min. EV charger obsolete, could not plug my Tesla. Very old Tesla charger. Other charger required some network membership. Not great. Good I had enough charge to make it to the channel tunnel. But this increased our trip next day in 45'"

"It’s a proper old fashioned seaside hotel. Plenty of places to sit and chat and eat and drink. Friendly staff. The hotel is quite old so do not have plugs by the bed so if you need that for charging phones (or cpap machines) then bring an extension cord 😊 I was a solo traveller with a dog and people could not have been nicer. I can’t wait to return 👏"

"The spa is the only thing that saves this hotel as without it it would be a very poor hotel. Rooms are very dated, our bed was like a camp bed very uncomfortable. Breakfast in Sage took an hour to be served and it wasn’t even busy. Give staying guests at least the option to go get yoghurt and pastries etc. while they wait for the breakfast cooked meal, having to wait for everything to be served is really old hat these days. "This is the perfect place for relaxation, romance and restlessness. The food and drink is also amazing!! Only downside is very few pool side beds, otherwise absolutely perfect!!"
