"This was the best house that I’ve stayed in yet! I’ve been doing VRBOs for several years and this one earned the 10/10 rating. Host was easily accessible, house was clean, gorgeously decorated, had every amenity you could want with a family, and even paid attention to details like spices/foil/coffee in the kitchen. Kids loved the spacious yard, game room, hot tub, and neighborhood for riding bikes. Can’t wait to book this one again!"

"We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer! The place was super clean and the views were beautiful once the rain finally stopped! Close to our favorite brewery and cidery. There were issues with TV reception (buffering) which may just be the area. Not much time for TV watching anyway with all the beautiful things to explore. We enjoyed our stay. "

"We had a wonderful long weekend with 5 couples for a 50th Birthday Trip. The location is beautiful...I cannot imagine what it would look like with the leaves turning or covered in snow...I am sure just gorgeous. The views are everything. "The house is old but looks newly painted inside. It boasts a good size kitchen, dining room and 4 double bedrooms. There is a first floor bedroom if someone can’t walk the stairs. We used the screened side porch a lot and the hot tub every night. The only thing needed to enjoy outside hot tub are lights for the stairs to the deck. Close to Blue Ridge Parkway and 20 minutes from Charlottesville. "

"Everything was great. The cabin was perfect for our family of nine. The furnishings, linens, beds and well stocked kitchen were super. The deck and its furniture, the hot tub, sauna and fire pit awesome! The cabin and natural setting was just what we needed. The rhododendrons were in full bloom, awesome. Great hostess. "The house was beautiful and well stocked. The owner thought of everything and all the light switches were labeled which helped a lot. All of the appliances were top notch and the Keurig coffee maker had everything that was needed. Beds were very comfortable and each room had its own thermostat. Overall, excellent stay!"

"Members of my family and I stayed at this property for a long weekend. The home is three levels which was awesome for those of us who wanted some down time to just chill. The main level being an open floor plan with a balcony was perfect for us all to enjoy each other’s company while reminiscing about my Father’s amazing life. The beds were comfortable and the thermostat worked beautifully to keep the temperature comfortable.The bathrooms were clean with adequate toiletries and space for us all....

"Loved our stay—very well appointed home!! Kitchen had all we needed and loved the coffee bar—they even provided coffee, creamers and sweeteners! We had 6 adults and 6 children ages 5-13 and this house was perfect for all of us. Loved the hot tub after a day of skiing as well as all of the games. We will definitely be back!!"
