The property is in a great location and has a lot of potential, but our stay was significantly impacted by maintenance and management issues.The downstairs beds were very worn and sagged in the middle. The linens appeared clean but were worn and possibly stained. We also had trouble accessing the unit due to unreliable keypad entry codes.There was a severe leak at the bay window throughout our stay, requiring us to place and empty buckets multiple times a day. Each guest was initially provided only one towel; having extra towels and bedding available on-site is a modest and reasonable expectation for a rental of this type. We were also asked to bring items such as paper towels, laundry detergent, and coffee filters, which are typically provided in similar Vrbo rentals.Due to snow, the deck and stairs required clearing. Only part of the stairs had been addressed, and we had to clear the rest ourselves to ensure safe access. The deck was unusable, one of the deck chairs had a broken leg, and there were loose wires where a deck light appeared intended but was not functional. The Roku device never worked despite troubleshooting, and we had to use our own device to stream.With proper upkeep and clearer management, this property could be much better. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.
