Home away from home

The stay was absolutely wonderful. If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing getaway then this is your place! A short walk on the beach takes you to the resort next door where the food and drinks are amazing and affordable! Plus they offer great excursions! 10/10 would stay here again.

Best location, amentities, and accomodations

The Vrbo was perfect for me and my husband. The location was perfect as it was close to many restaurants but not super crowded. Also, we loved having pool steps from our door and the beach within walking distance. The view was outstanding.

Perfect family vacation!

Absolutely beautiful property and location. The room was perfect and stocked with everything we couldn't bring from home, especially all the beach equipment. Very convenient having 2 restaurants and multiple pools to use within walking distance. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect place to enjoy St. Thomas!

We loved our stay on Bolongo Bay. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed and the view is fantastic. The king sized bed is very comfortable and the pool area is lovely to spend an afternoon lounging. We attended a wedding at Bolongo Bay Resort and could easily walk between properties to meet friends and attend events.

Nice studio condo

This condo is well stocked and everything was in working order. I have stayed here several times and have already booked my time for 2024. I love the location. The owner's are very prompt and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this condo.

It is a nice ocean view property. The studio apartment has everything you need but you have to take a taxi to grocery store or you must have rental car. The host is helpful. The carpet pice s are dirty and old need to be replaced.

Great Place

Property manager was very responsive & no issues. Beach towels, water shoes, & other accessories are supplied. Description & pictures provide exact representation. Would definitely stay here again. Bolongo Beach is nice self contained area. There are 2 restaurants onsite that are walkable.

First time to St Thomas and it was AMAZING. I highly recommend visiting. The spot was great, but I would recommend renting a car. I had a bit of trouble getting taxis at times. It from what I could tell this is a less "touristy" area so they're not as abundantly in the area

Perfect property for our needs

This property was the perfect fit for our needs while on St Thomas. It was centrally located between Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook, which gave us easy access to the island's beaches, grocery stores and, St John fairy terminal. The two on-site restaurants (Mim's and Iggy's Oasis) were both terrific and within walking distance of the unit. The condo itself was clean and well stocked with everything you would need for a week's stay. It is just steps to the ocean front pool which was very warm and cleaned daily. We had a minor issue accessing the condo when we first arrived but, it was handled quickly by the owner (Yolanta) and we were soon on our way to a very enjoyable stay! The beach itself is beautiful to look at but, is not the best for swimming. This was no problem for us however because, we rented a Jeep and explored the many fabulous beaches on both St Thomas and St John. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great value with numerous amenities. We look forward to future stays at this fabulous Bolongo Bay condo!

Perfect Ocean View

The location and view are great. Steps from the pool from the patio. Looking straight at the Ocean. You can hear the waves.The TV was upgraded since the photos in the posting were taken. They have a 43" Roku 4k TV and Viya cable. There is a small oven which we didn't use since we ate out. Blender for daiquiris which is super to have on hand. Make sure it is locked in facing forward or it won't turn on. Shower pressure and hot water good. You can walk the beach to Bolongo Bay Resort to eat or Mim's onsite for dinner. The pool has a foot wash which is perfect for cleaning off after visiting the beaches. Owner's were fast to respond when contacted through VRBO. Bolongo Bay just to make sure you know is not the best swimming beach. We've stayed in this complex before and the view and pool are worth it. We always rent a car and visit many of the other beaches. Sea weed is a bit random so one day a beach is clear and the next covered in sea weed. They try and clean it up but if a beach is hit try another one because it takes several days to remove it. Just an FYI for anyone who stays in St. Thomas this time of year. We have always found clear beaches. Magens Bay and Honeymoon Beach we have never seen any but... that was our experience. Last year Lindqvist Beach had it and this year clear. The studio has plenty of dishes and silverware etc... for whatever your needs. We like this complex for many reasons including good roads and parking.

Good week, great weather!

We spent 10 days at this condo. It is as described and very well outfitted with dishes, spices and even a bottle of wine to welcome us. The pros were: 1. the location to the pool 2. well-stocked cupboards with nearly every glass, plate, pan, utensil, etc. that you would need (unless you like to drink shaken martinis - then bring your own equipment - and not a dealbreaker) 3. we needed assistance from the on-site manager who was very helpful 4. the bed was so comfortable - and this is not always the case at vrbo properties 5. there was a safe in the closet that I would never have expected The cons were mostly things not in the control of the owner. However, they are mentionable: 1. Iggie's has not rebuilt since Hurricane Irma (2017) and is currently open in the resort next door. We felt like we were treated as second class citizens when we ate at the resort. They ask whether you are a guest of the resort. We went there several times during the week and tipped well, but they never curbed their attitude. 2. Mim's restaurant on site is open only for dinner and pricey 3. we referred to ourselves as 'landlocked'. Since we did not rent a car, our only options were taxi or walk. Iggie's and Mim's are the only walkables. Taxis were expensive and there is a list of taxis in the condo, but none answered their phone or would service that area 4. we were without TV. we couldn't figure it out and didn't want to ask for help 5. the bay did not look good, no one swam or snorkeled

Perfect beachfront property

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beachfront properly in paradise. Perfect for a low key girls trip with multiple restaurants within walking distance. Ferry was super close for day trips to St. John and the British Virgin Islands. Pool was lovely.

The property was so convenient with a beach, pool and two restaurants within walking distance right outside the door. It was not crowded or a high traffic area so it was peaceful and tucked away in it's own little cove.

A beautiful spot to stay in paradise

A lovely, clean studio unit with ample space for 2. Modern bathroom; loved the stall shower. Well provisioned kitchen and comfy bed. Lots of beach & snorkel equipment. And the patio! A terrific vacation spot.
