Beyond expectations!

Sugar shack was perfect for my family! Nana and papaw stayed on one side of the house. Daughter and her family had the other side of house. Kitchen was well stocked. We cooked in several times. Perfect for grand dog. Fenced in back yard was beautiful landscaped. Outside shower was very useful. We loved sitting on the screened in front porch. We were close to the village went just about everyday there. The guys went fishing everyday at the north end of the island. Loved the beaches and the pool that was near by. We rented a golf cart and went everywhere in it. We never left the island. The house had plenty of towels for house and beach. One of the best beach trips we have had. Our plan is to go back to same house next year.

Truly the Sweetest Stay at Sugar Shack

This home wowed us from the moment we walked in the door. The location is unmatched and the house had everything we could possibly need and more. It was truly decorated and thought out towards comfort and we had the best time. We’ve been staying around the island for 7 years now and this was our favorite home. Perfect for kids and all the beds were comfortable and everyone slept so well. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Great time, great house!

The house was so nice! Perfectly sized for our group of 6, and had so many beach supplies and stuff that we were able to use!! The beach cart to carry chairs specifically helped so much!

Sugar Shack

Enjoyed our relaxing week at the Sugar Shack. The house had everything we needed to cook and a great outdoor fire pit. We were within walking distance to the village to explore the shops and restaurants. The beach was also close to walk our dog each morning, and the Island had lots to offer. The host made the check-in/departure easy.

Wonderful house and cute neighborhood

This house had everything - all the cooking items needed and more; excellent sheets and towel supply, plenty of space, great suggestions. Location was wonderful - we enjoyed the neighborhood and the beautiful park and proximity to awesome beaches, the town center and excellent restaurants nearby. The hosts were extremely helpful. Super experience!

Loved!

This was the perfect property for a girls trip. The location was walkable to the beach and restaurants/bars in town. We had plenty of room and everything we needed. We especially loved that chairs/a wagon were included, the VERY comfy couches, and the awesome kitchen.

Perfect location for our family

You really can’t beat the location of the house - it’s in walking distance to the pier, beach, and two playgrounds, but tucked on a quiet street that’s really peaceful. The yard is perfect for kids and dogs and the house has everything you need for a long or short trip. We stayed over a week and it was like a home away. Our only feedback is that it’s due for a deep clean which is an easy thing to address. We have stayed here many times and will again - thank you!

THE BEST EVER!!!!!

This rental is in a beautiful neighborhood, convenient to stores and restaurants. The place is large, comfortable, and well-equipped. The beds are very comfortable. This place sets the standard for accommodation, and the owner sets the bar for hospitality!! The owner ensured we had everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. There is a fenced yard for dogs and even a dog bath!! The gas for the grill ran out, and I said to myself, "I bet there is a spare tank in the gargage - and there it was!!! It is located near bike trails, downtown, and the beach. We highly recommend this rental to other Vrbo guests!!

Two Families Vacation

Wonderful house to stay in. We had 4 adults and 5 kids plus our dog. Kids loved the bunk room. Parents of younger kids stayed in the adjacent king room and us on the other side of the house. It was nice that it was separated. Family room big enough for all to enjoy. We never felt crowded in the space. The house is wonderfully stocked with any dish and appliances you would need to cook. Also provides all the beach essentials chairs, umbrella and even a wagon to put it all it for the short walk. I have never stayed in a house that provides everything you need for a stay (paper towels, soap laundry soap) what a plus! Property manager was responsive with communication while we were there. Great house and would rent again!

St. Simons Getaway

A great place to stay

A lovely home, perfectly located to get to the beach or the village. We took our dog and loved having a fenced yard in which she could run around. We had everything we needed to visit the beach, cook dinner, and relax. We would definitely stay here again.

Slice of Paradise

Great location. Clean with good amenities. Would have preferred more than just basic cable TV but we got by since it was a short visit. Ben was a great property manager and quick to respond. Love the fact it is dog-friendly. Thank you!
