Excente hotel y personal
Excelente teato y limpieza. Muy agradecidos por lad atenciones de todo el personal, especialmente el maitre Joshua, que nos aconsejo tanto en los platos y bebidas de cena, como orientaciones de la isla. Recomendaremos el hotel a nuestra familia y amigos.

Très bel établissement, dans un quartier champêtre et très calme de Guernesey. A quelques pas d'une crique sauvage et superbe et à très courte distance de deux Musées ayant trait à l'occupation allemande. Personnel très attentif. Parfait

Welcoming hotel with excellent facilities
We were so delighted with our stay. We had been a bit concerned about our "cosy double" room being too small for a 4 night stay after an email from the hotel cautioning on its size but it was a completely standard sized double room with ample space for the two of us to dress and dump bags. Service around the hotel was 5* level - it was incredibly personable, friendly, efficient, and attentive. We felt comfortable spending time in the bar, on the terrace or pool without feeling over-looked and we kept remarking on how welcoming staff were. The restaurant was lovely and the wine list tremendous. We are vegetarian and had 5 good main options. We are both in our early 40s and when we stayed in September we seemed to be the youngest guests in the hotel by 30 years. This may be useful information for some would-be guests, it wasn't an issue for us.

The excellent La Barbarie hotel!
Our long weekend spent at this hotel could not have been better. The hotel was very clean and well maintained with all the facilities you would expect from a highly rated hotel. The food was amazing, always excellent whether that be breakfast, lunch or dinner or even a quick snack. All the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The La Barbarie hotel is a real gem of a find and we’ll certainly be returning when we next visit Guernsey.

Lovely small hotel with heated swimming pool, restaurant and bar and parking. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. My room was nice although very close to reception which meant I could hear (and see!) comings and goings until 10pmish. Liked the small friendly atmosphere around the place.

I was very comfortable in my room & it was well-appointed. The staff were very friendly & efficient. The food was good & well-presented. The only downsides to the room I occupied were that the windows would not close properly & I felt the potential to be overlooked so kept the curtains closed much of the time.

Lovely hotel in a great location, well maintained. Cliff top walks and the bus stop minutes away. Very warm friendly staff and the food was absolutely excellent. We will return again which is something we rarely do with hotels as we enjoy staying in different places.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel! Located in a beautiful area of the island with a convenient bus stop just outside, the staff was friendly & fabulous, the food was excellent, rooms comfortable & clean! Would happily return again & again if possible!

Fantastic place, I arrived late after a delayed flight, they had sandwiches ready for me a a cold wine all was lovely. The staff are amazingly friendly and yet so professional. Thanks all. All of the staff are so friendly and considerate. Excellent service at all times. The food was superb with excellent menu and local produce. Beautiful quiet location within easy walking distance of stunning coastline and excellent bus service to get into town and explore further afield.
