Very clean overall. Kitchen a little small for multiple cooks but workable. Loved the view. Pool got a lot of us. Quests with kids should be aware there is no shallow parts. Luckily we brought life jackets.

Villa Trupial was the perfect place for me, my parter and friends. The check-in process was so easy and every detail considered. From the views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea, the spacious pool and sundeck and well-equipped kitchen, this property was our luxurious home away from home. I would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to this special country.

We spent 2 weeks in this wonderful villa! Everything was as described! The first week we had friends visiting and the second week our adult children and their spouses. It was nice everyone could have their own space but we mostly congregated on the terrace by the pool, enjoying the beautiful view. Breezes kept us comfortable in the day and we only used the AC at night. We cooked most of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen. One night private chef Brandon Colina (#bcprivatechef) cooked a marvelous meal for us. We enjoyed croissants and to-die -or cashew cake from the bakery restaurant. Three nights we ate at Karakter, where food was good, but service terrible. Snorkeling off the resort beach was incredible. We also enjoyed Daaibooi, Playa Grandi, Playa Porto Mari, and Kenapa Grandi. Did not care for Cas Abou. There is a steep curb and sharp downhill driveway, so an SUV car is a better choice than sedan. We never attempted the walk down to the resort since the drive was so short. We would love to return to Villa Trupial!

There's no beating the view from this place. And it was quite comfortable for our family if 8. Check out the DaaiBooi beach early - we only went on our last day but really enjoyed it for snorkeling and relative quiet, compared to the many others we tried that were further away.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!

We travelled with a group of nine women. Villa Trupial was absolutely perfect for us. Hilde was extremely communicative and answered all of our questions both before and during our stay. The house was spotless when we arrived and is well equipped. The beds are extremely comfortable. The location is very convenient to the islands best beaches. The beach at Coral Estate has excellent snorkeling but isn’t a sandy beach. Our favorite beach was Daaiboi which is a short drive away. We loved the wide open feel and never needed AC on the main level. One thing to note: three of the bedrooms are on lower levels that are only accessible by an outside stairway.

Curacao vacation

The property and location was beautiful. It far exceeded our expectations. Probably one of the most lovely rentals we have stayed in. The property managers were quick to respond to any of our questions. It was very clean. The accessibility to great snorkeling beaches was a big plus. It was a wonderful family vacation!

Villa Trupial

We loved the residence! It was a great central place on Curacao to go to many great beaches and also into the city. We were about 30 minutes to Westpunt and 30 minutes to Willamsted. It gave us a great home base to explore the beautiful island.We did a lot of exploring on the island to different beaches. But we also found getting food and groceries were easy. We did go to the main Centrum Grocery a few times, the local New California store close by was also very good on what we needed and the prices were comparable. That made it easy to restock on things through the week.We had 6 guests there and we all had plenty of room to spread out, the pool was a great area to hang out in. There were great views to enjoy from all the rooms and levels. In the early afternoons and evenings the lower 'Tiki' hut was great for us to relax in as well. It was a great atmosphere for the family.We really enjoyed the home for 11 nights and would highly recommend it to anyone looking!

Undeniable Paradise

This was our second trip to the island of Curacao. 900 Villa Troupial did not disappoint! We had initially planned this trip for the spring of 2021 and again in 2022. Neither trip happened due to the pandemic. Over several years of planning and interchanging people, we finally made it to this lovely home. The home is exactly as pictured… Perfect! The view of the Caribbean Sea from the foyer immediately welcomes you. This home is the perfect place to reconnect with family (we had 10). When we weren’t enjoying the beautiful beaches of Curaçao, we spent the majority of our time sitting by the pool, listening to music, laughing, talking, and reconnecting. The kitchen was well appointed and allowed for meals to be easily prepared. Each bedroom was comfortably set up. The home has been well cared for and was clean and tidy. The grounds too have been well cared for. This home is the perfectly located as it sits practically mid-island on the southwestern shore. The sunsets from the veranda are worth the price of admission. We recommend this property to anyone with a desire to vacation comfortably and to reconnect with nature. Els was a lovely host and very easy to work with over the course of our 3 planned trips. If we return to this island and I hope that we do, we will definitely be staying at this home!

Wonderful Place with Amazing Views

From the get go, the communications with the property manager were responsive and smooth. The house was clean and exactly as advertised. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen (from spices to kitchen tools we were covered) and the grill was perfect for outdoor cooks. Big spacious rooms allowed for our group to all have their own space. In the evening with the sliding doors and front doors open it provided a refreshing breeze. As mentioned its a bit of a steep slope down to the driveway so be careful if the car is loaded up, we had a small SUV and no clearance issues.

Perfect for our group of 6

Location was great! Kitchen was extremely well-stocked with pans allowing for casseroles, cookies, cakes, grilling, etc. Pool was wonderful. All furniture was comfortable. Plenty of towels. One room that is only accessible from the outside was not a problem for us. There were some bugs, but we were able to control the numbers with citronella and mosquito coils. We were not deterred by them, and ate outside for every meal, and played games in the evening outside. Curaçao can be hot in the late afternoon, but the owner provides ceiling fans and even a standing fan which along with the awesome breeze that whooshes through the house mitigates that issue. AC in bedrooms makes for comfortable asleep.The steep downturn of the driveway entrance was not a problem for our Ford Explorer and we elected to keep the lower-clearance van parked on the side of the road that goes by the house. As a family of adults we snorkeled and dived twice every day at various beautiful beaches, and enjoyed a picnic lunch together on the beach in between. What a dream!.

This time with family was just what "the doctor ordered" and the location and villas was a great place to stay. If we ever return to Curacao, this villa will be where we hope to stay.

The perfect vacation property

9 adults stayed at Villa Trupial the first week of July and our stay was fantastic. Hilde, the property manager, was responsive to any questions-- in fact she almost IMMEDIATELY responded to each question. The home is exactly as listed and the book they have put together for the home is wonderful. The villa is clean, comfortable and inviting. The location is excellent with grocery stores only 20 minutes away, and sandy beaches minutes from your door. The view and sunsets are unsurpassed! I would highly recommend Villa Trupial!!

Golf Trip to Curacao

My friends and I completed a golf trip to Curaçao. We chose this location for its accessibility and expense. The property was outstanding. Everything was as advertised. Both the owners and property managers communicated and were available for any issues. We had no issues with the property or time!

Wonderful Views and Gorgeous Home!

This is a beautiful home with amazing views of the Caribbean Sea. It is wonderfully furnished, well-maintained and has everything you need. It is in a quiet, secure neighborhood in a gated community. We highly recommend it. Our group enjoyed the outdoor spaces and evening sunsets by the pool. Hilda was very responsive to our requests. Excellent stay!

Amazing Sunsets and Wonderful Home!

Villa Trupial is a lovely home for vacations and adventures of all sorts. The patio/dining/pool area is absolutely awesome, and our families found ourselves spending almost all our time enjoying this area together. (It was hard to convince kids and adults alike to leave the big pool and do other things.) The separate rooms, sections, and garden turned out to be perfect when people wanted to get away for quiet time, privacy, reading, or a vacation nap. The gardens are filled with birds, lizards, and lovely plants and cacti of all sorts. After exploring Curacao during the day, we enjoyed the early evenings together on the front patio watching the hummingbirds amongst the flowers and palms. The location is minutes away from wonderful swimming and snorkeling at several beaches, and Coral Estates was quiet and relaxing. Major grocery stores and other items were 20-30 minutes into the city, but the mini markets and local stops were helpful coming back from the northern side of Curacao. We arrived very late due to weather-delayed flights, but Hilde is an awesome property host and communication was prompt, friendly, and excellent via WhatsApp. Highly recommend Villa Trupial for your Curacao adventures! Thank you!

Amazing house, beautiful grounds, and a perfect location

Our group of 9 (4 adults, 5 kids) loved staying at Villa Trupial. The house was plenty big for both families to spread out. We particularly enjoyed spending time around the pool and the many seating areas outside. The house is exactly as it appears in the photos, if not even more spacious. Coral Estates is a great neighborhood and centrally located on the island. The temps in Curacao were quite warm, but we were very comfortable throughout our stay. During the days, we left the windows open to get a cross-breeze throughout the house, and there was consistent wind outside. At night, the air conditioners in each bedroom were more than sufficient to keep us cool. Hilde was a wonderful property manager/host before, during, and after our stay. The check-in process was very smooth, and Hilde helped us arrange an online grocery delivery that arrived around the same time we did. Suggestion for future guests: check with Hilde or the owners about what supplies may be in stock. There was coffee, lots of spices and cooking staples, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, coolers and ice packs, etc. in the house when we arrived. We restocked paper towels and toilet paper, and we had to pick up some shampoo and body wash at a store (as there was none in any of the bathrooms). As the information booklet made clear (ahead of our trip), this is a house--not a hotel--so these supplies will vary! There were plenty of grocery stores within a 15-20 minute drive, so it was no issue for us.

We had a great trip, and this property is fantastic!

From the outset, communication was exemplary - whether it was pre-booking, before arrival, or during our stay. Quick, detailed, and informative responses via email and WhatsApp alleviated any concerns we might have had. Ensure you have a rental vehicle with adequate clearance for the steep driveway, although we had no issues parking our two SUVs. The property itself left us in awe. The views were simply breathtaking, and the expansive indoor and outdoor spaces provided ample room for our two families ensuring everyone had their own space when needed. The amenities, furniture, and appliances were all top-notch. One thing to note from the property description is that there's no interior staircase connecting the different floors, so you'll need to venture outside to access the lower-level bedrooms. A word of caution: the toaster works incredibly fast and gets quite hot, so keep an eye on your toast! We spent most of our time enjoying the refreshing pool and dining al fresco at the spacious outdoor table. The gentle breeze kept the main floor comfortable. AC units in the bedrooms ensured a restful night's sleep. Coral Estates itself is a picturesque area with friendly locals. It's about a 10-minute walk to reach the beach, which is lovely. The water is crystal clear, perfect for snorkeling. We also sampled the restaurants at Coral Estates-Pizza and More exceeded our expectations, Bread and More, where I enjoyed a morning ritual of picking croissants and a coffee. Highly Recommend

Great stay in Coral Estates

Wonderful view from a clean, modern, well designed property. Communication was excellent and we had no issues during our stay. Coral Estates was very quiet and is a great jumping off point to explore the beaches and parks of Curacao.
