Pleasant stay and great staff
Very helpful and pleasant staff. Word of advice- if you are in SA in summer, beware of power cuts(this id country wide), as during those times there are no air-conditioners, only fans (Ndiza has a generator). When it is 40 degrees that makes a difference.

Breakfast was good even though it seemed the staff had no interest in being there!!! The staff service was disappointing, especially the receptionist!! We were having a drink at the bar at 10.45pm and was told the lodge closes down at 10pm. We had had a 10hr drive and arrived at 6.45pm so once we found somewhere to eat we just wanted to relax with a drink after a long day. If we had known this we would not have stayed. We have traveled around Africa and have stayed in some wonderful places with wonderful staff service at a fraction of the price.

Dear Guest, It is with regret that I read your bad review. At Ndiza we consider all our guests and their relaxation is very important to us. You were four adults and not the only guests we had during your stay. You were asked to retire to your rooms when other guests complained about the noise you were making at 22h40. Other guests also had a long day and would also like to relax and sleep. It is evident from our other reviews that Ndiza is a lovely place and our staff receive daily compliments. Regards Amanda

Nice place
In quiet part of town, well kept property, nice garden. Excellent breakfast, good range incl fresh fruit, eggs cooked fresh. Beach and ocean can be seen from top deck where breakfast served, really nice location to start the day. Insect repellant required in the evening tho. Overall a good town to stop, we stayed 3 nights.

Bel hébergement à proximité du centre de St Lucia. La piscine est petite et n'était pas utilisable pendant notre séjour mais la propriétaire nous a permis l'accès à celle du voisin qui était très bien !

Der Service ist top und es wird sich um jeden Wunsch gekümmert. In einer Geschwindigkeit, die unglaublich ist - z.B. zwei Koffer voller Wäsche in 8 Stunden gewaschen zurück. Der Blick von der Terasse ist traumhaft.

Bed was very comfortable. Great to have self catering facilities in the cabana. Bathroom was a bit small and sometimes had difficulty getting in and out of the shower.

The wifi was none existent during our stay. They said to sit by reception if the signal was weak in the room. The signal wasn't weak. Our cells couldn't even see the router. I understand there are problems in Africa with such things. Funny, restaurants a short distance away had wifi every time we ate there.

Dear Guest, Looking at the date you did this review - you stayed with us during the period when we had hardly any signal due to lightning damage. Our phone lines, wifi, TV's were all damaged. Regards Amanda

Etwas entfernt vom attraktiven Zentrum liegt diese Lodge. Man sollte Abends das Auto nutzen wg. Affen und Flusspferden.Ansonsten ist alles vorhanden :gute Gaststätten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Ausflugsziele, Nationalparks.

Tres agreable et excellent rapport qualité prix

Fantastic lodge with lovely staff
The location of the lodge is stunning, with fantastic views from the terrace out to the sea. St Lucia is a lovely place to stay while exploring the local area. Staff were extremely kind of helpful, even upgrading a friend's room for free so she could stay in the lodge next to some of the other members of our party. Highly recommended.

Amazing place to stay, great value for money too!
We stayed in a Cabana which was perfect for our little family of 4. We could eat in if we wanted and leave early for Safari without feeling like we'd wake anyone. Booked a lovely breakfast up on their decked balcony with amazing views over the trees looking out onto the river mouth. Great care is being taken to keep the eco-system working so whilst it was a pity that there were loads of trucks up at the beach you can appreciate what they are trying to do. Would definitely return to stay given the chance.

I had booked a 2 bedroom cottage in Ndiza but was alloted one in Little Eden which is in the same compound with access to the same facilities. The cottage was spacious, well furnished, with a lovely private garden and attached car park. Check in and check out was a breeze. The buffet breakfast was limited but sufficient. The resort doesn't serve lunch or dinner. The restaurants and shops are a full 15 minutes walk away. To get to the beaches a car is a must. All in all I would heartily recommend Ndiza.

Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft
Wir waren insgesamt 4 Tage in dieser Lodge und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt Das Frühstück ist landestypisch mit Toast, Ei und Speck. Aber auch Muesli und Rösti stehen zur Verfügung. Der Blick von der Veranda auf das Meer ist schon beeindruckend. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, das Bad ist zwar bestimmt schon einige Jahre alt, aber sauber. Im Zimmer steht ein Kühlschrank zur Verfügung, der jeden Tag mit 2 Flaschen Wasser befüllt wird. Die Anlage ist sehr geplegt und zur Gartenseite hin offen. Abends läuft schon mal ein Nilpferd an der Veranda vorbei (so geschehen am letzten Abend). Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und würden diese Logde jederzeit wieder buchen.

Nydelig lodge med flott beliggenhet i grøntområde. Veldig god valuta for pengene! Jeg glemte gifteringen min på nattbordet, men de tok kontakt med meg etter jeg hadde reist og spurte hvor de kunde ettersende den. Super service!

Frühstück auf dem Topdeck
Das geniale an dieser sehr guten Unterkunft ist die Lage und die Aussicht. Das Frühstück auf dem Balkon mit Blick auf den Indischen Ozean werde ich nie vergessen. Die Bar, der Service, das Personal - es stimmte einfach alles. Nachts kommen die Hippos in den Garten, der im Übrigen wunderschön ist, man fühlt sich ein bisschen wie im Dschungel.

Very good location, quiet position, but easy access to the village of St. Lucia, you could walk at night, but best not to, as the hippos come out of the river and walk in the roads grazing.

Couple 1 night stay- Lovely!!
Had 1 night at the lodge in one of the 2 bedroom chalets. Really enjoyed our stay. Relaxed by the lovely pool with a few drinks and had a braai right outside the room. Only complaint is we were in the chalet closest to the entrance gate which was particularly noisy as people were leaving in the early hours for safari etc. Apart from this, the place was extremely impressive and I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in St. Lucia.

Potrebbe migliorare
Struttura esternamente bellissima e internamente…kitsch! Senza quella moquette scura e quei tristissimi quadri avrebbe già un aspetto più piacevole. Questo viene compensato con la bellissima veranda esterna di legno circondata da una fitta vegetazione dalla quale si intravedono, in lontananza, l’oceano e il lago. La signora receptionist tutto fare è molto gentile a differenza delle donne che servono a colazione che sembrano intimorite e stentano a salutare.

Vue sur la mer au petit déjeuner
Nous n'avons fait que passer une nuit à St Lucia et avons beaucoup apprécié le petit déjeuner sur le balcon du premier étage avec vue sur la mer. Les chambres sont simples et fonctionnelles et le parking devant l'hôtel est grand. Le wifi est malheureusement pas très bon dans cet hôtel.

Very nice place, highly recommended!! It was self-service but the service minded staff did our dishes, cleaned our room and made our beds anyway. A small minus for being abit far from the main street. There arent many streetlights, we didnt have a proper flashlight and there was hippos roaming the streets (which sounds like fun but they can be very dangerous). So if you want to be safe, take the car or bring a flashlight and thread carefully. I recommend doing a boatcruize, we saw crocs and hippos. And also take a drive to cape vidal were there is a nice beach and the drive there is amazing, with lots of animals. Enjoy your stay here, we sure did!

Schön, gut, besser
Ein sehr schönes Hotel, hat etwas von einem Baumhaus. Das Zimmer war recht groß. Kühlschrank, Klimaanlage, Balkon, große Dusche und alles sauber. Man muss abends aufpassen das die Hippos einen nicht beißen :), da diese in der Nacht überall durch die Straßen laufen können. Die Kriminalität ist in diesem Bereich von Südafrika viel geringer. Von da aus kann man sehr viel schöne Landschaften (Cape Vidal etc.) und auch sehr gute Restaurants anfahren (aber nie nach Sonnenuntergang ohne Auto - die Hippos! :) ). Alles in allem eine schöne Möglichkeit die Flitterwochen um ein paar schöne Eindrücke zu erweitern :)
