The villa was great, very comfortable, nice pool and a perfect porch to sit and drink tea in the morning. Nice layout and a well stocked kitchen. Never needed AC with the fans and the cross breezes. Terrific location, with good parking for 2 cars. The villa was spotlessly clean!

Fantastic Stay!

We had an absolutely incredible stay. This house was in the perfect location, beautiful view and within a short drive to all the beaches. The host and property manager were incredibly responsive. Definitely recommend!

Great house!

We loved our stay. It’s hard not to when you’re in St. John, but this house had everything that we needed and more. The view was great. The screens worked and we’re not broken letting bugs in, the pool was clean, and the host provided some of our basic needs upon arrival (paper towels, bottled water, ice) along with coolers and chairs and beach towels. The generator was essential, as the power went out one night for a couple hours, and it kicked right on. Highly recommend!

St. John Vacation Feb 2024

Good house, great pool set up, great location, close to town. Cons would be it def needs some updating and TLC. 2 Twin bedroom and futon room are completely separate from each other and the only access to both is an outside stairway. It's not ideal for small children. Overall I would stay again.

St. John Getaway

This was our first time on St. John which is a beautiful island with lots of hills. We always felt very safe. Gorgeous views of Chocolate Hole, a steep one mile hike downhill (not always with sidewalks). This is a great house for two couples. The other two bedrooms are outside and around the house down a set of stairs. One room downstairs was missing a screen door and thus you have to use the AC for air flow. You must rent a car, both for safety and access of the island but also to take the trash and recycling away every day.

Great Virgins experience!

Villa was comfortable for 7, very convenient to Cruz and the beaches, and very nice views from the capacious covered porch. Host was great. Lack of AC in living room / kitchen wasn't a problem for us in January, but might be in hotter weather. Overall a great experience, would rent again!

Great location!

The home is located in the Chocolate Hole area, super easy to get to, amazing view and very quiet. The overall experience was wonderful! We were supplied with coolers and chairs which made our trip easy. The pool is just the perfect size. Very convenient to get to downtown Cruz Bay and groceries. We would stay there again. Cons: The home could use some furniture updating, definitely bring your own paper towels and tall kitchen garbage bags and the downstairs bedroom sliding doors did not lock.

Great location, spacious bedrooms and pool

Great stay, would definitely return. Private location. Tons of lush landscaping and flowers. The two bedrooms on the main floor were very spacious. Great open main living space. Third bedroom with bath downstairs needed to use stairs along side of house to get to it but outside was well lit so that was no problem. Property managers Murel and Kiarah were very nice and helpful.

Our stay at Villa Catalina

Our family had a wonderful time at Villa Catalina. It was the perfect spot to relax and so close to the food markets and Cruz Bay as well as to the road to the beaches. The cool breeze was always blowing and only one night we had to put the air conditioning on. The only disappointment we found was in the kitchen. All of the 4 stove top gas jets could not be regulated, all you got was a flame at full blast. And yet we found it took forever to boil a pot of water? The oven worked ok, but think it’s time to replace the stove. There was a shortage of flatware, which we had to have the manager get additional for us. The pots and especially the pans could use an upgrade, perhaps going with teflon to make it easier for guests to clean up. We did discover a delightful beach to swim and snorkel 5 minutes from the villa off East Chocolate Hole Road for those days when you didn’t want to drive up the beach road.

Beautiful st johns

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The concierge was very responsive and helpful. Pool quite a bit smaller than pictures but overall great location and quite adequate for our needs.

Beautiful views

Myrtle and Curtis were great managers. We needed a few minor things and they were there immediately with a quick resolution. We love the view and having our pup with us. Thank you for a great 2 weeks!

St John Fun

The house worked out well for us. Upstairs and Main bottom level bedrooms were big. The pool was nice to have especially with the 5 year old. We could use it to keep her busy as well as cool off in the afternoon. Nice view and it was fun watching the iguanas in the trees

Family trip to St. John

We loved our stay at Claudia's villa. The views are as advertised and are outstanding. It's a close drive to the busy and fun Cruz Bay area, and the bedrooms are spacious and beautiful. It's a challenging driveway to navigate but we got used to that and realize now that's just part of staying on the island. The downstairs bedrooms are only accessed via an exterior stair so they felt somewhat disconnected and the kitchen is just a bit dated but overall we loved our stay and would definitely return in the future. Claudia and her support staff are very responsive and courteous and were wonderful hosts. Highly recommended!

Felt like home away from home!

This is a very comfortable and clean property, we absolutely loved our stay here and will book again when we return to the island! The covered balcony offers a great spot to enjoy the view while eating and escaping the sun, and the deck and pool area are the perfect place to relax after a morning at the beach. It's less than a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, and town isn't much further - perfect location.

Management staff was very helpful

Due to some airline issues, we arrived later than our young adult children that were traveling from a different city. Myrtle went above and beyond making sure they got off the ferry and arranged a cab to take them to the grocery store and then up to the house. It was much appreciated to decrease my stress level! The house worked out well for us, having older children, although I was a little worried my 12 year old son wouldn’t want to be so far away in the downstairs bedroom (with no interior entrance to the main house). He was fine though and enjoyed his private room 😊. We had an issue with water and they responded right away. It’s good to know ahead that they advise not to drink the water. My guess is that is the same in most of the rental homes. The view was amazing. It was close to town but far enough away that we felt very private. As for most rentals we saw, be prepared for a very steep driveway!

Lovely getaway

Our family of 5 adults so enjoyed this quiet house with the spectacular view, refreshing swimming pool, well appointed kitchen and 4 bedrooms. The water pressure in the showers is low, but this is typical. It was difficult for cabs to get up to us, but we had a rental car, so no problem. We did have a problem with one of the showers, the maintenance person was there and fixed things within an hour. It was so nice to have the grill and tables and chairs on the deck. We had a lovely relaxing time.
