Spring Family Break

Pool is awesome. Close to Cinnamon Beach. Views amazing. Kitchen worked out perfect w spices and such. Power went out one night and generator kicked in nicely. Trade wind breezes were incredible. We spent 90% of time out during the day at beaches. If you plan on staying completely at house be aware of construction going on up the hill. Recommend screen on upstairs bedroom as the bugs ate my daughter.

Just book it

This was our third time visiting this rental house and it’s only gotten more incredible each time. The house is in a perfect location and has everything you need for a stay in paradise. Michelle, the property manager is always available without ever being intrusive. We have had three perfect week long stays.

Amazing Property and Views

We had a great stay with our family of six. The property was clean, well maintained, functional, and loaded up on amenities. The view is breathtaking from the rear property. Pool is serene along with fire pit, hot tub, BBQ area and tons of seating. The hot tub is great but may be ready for an upgrade, still very enjoyable with that said. The kitchen is loaded, they also have spices and oils so don’t buy all that without checking first - it’s all expensive on the island. Full laundry, good internet, lots of fans, great window air flow, football table, board games, beach chairs, snorkel gear, and coolers. Very convenient and saves on rentals to have all this. The home is in the National Park essentially so it’s quite desolate nearby. At night, the symphony of noises in the back yard is therapeutic to listen to. Oddly, there are not many hiking trail access points close to the house - so you’ll be in for a short drive for those. The location is rather central - so on the plus side, everything is essentially within 10-15 minutes away. You can hike roadside to Cinnamon Bay beach in 30-40 minutes but be ready for an exhilarating uphill return trip. On the downside, there are few things in 5 minutes or less away or easily walkable. A couple of bar/restaurants and a grocery store. A rental car is a must-have. Host was simply amazing! FYI - uphill, winding, and narrow roads are a given everywhere on this island. Driving access was no different than almost anywhere

Spectacular property!

Cinnamon Day Dreams is a truly special place. The back patio/lenai has amazing views and the property is very well maintained. The location is great -10 minutes to Cruze Bay and 10 minutes to the best north shore beaches. Be aware that the roads are quite windy and unfinished, so it is important to feel comfortable driving a 4x4 Jeep on some fairly rough and steep terrain. Michelle was super helpful and responsive. We definitely would come back next time we are on St. John.

NEVER AGAIN WILL DREAMS COME TRUE AT ESTATE HAMMER

FOR 16 YEARS I HAVE VISITED ST JOHN RENTING 5 DIFFERENT HOMES NEVER A BAD EXPERIENCE UNTIL THIS YEAR. THE FACTS ARE AS FOLLOWS, 2 DAY PRIOR TO ARRIVAL EMAIL FROM OWNER ADJACENT PROPERTY UNDER CONSTRUCTION LIMITED TO VOICES MON-FRI. "YOU WONT EVEN NOTICE IT" ACTUAL CONSTRUTION 7 DAYS A WK, SAWS, HAMMERS, EXCAVATION, CONCRETE TRUCKS. LIMITED WATER PRESSURE, RESULT OF CONSTRUCTION, ONWER BLAMED IT ON WATER CONSERVATION (PROJECT WATER FROM OUR RENTAL). RENTED FOR 4 WKS. NOTIFIED OWNER AND SHE BLAMED THE ISLAND AND THE CONTRACTOR. SO BAD LEFT 5 DAYS EARLY. NO WATER PRESSURE RESULTING FROM CONST PROJECT. ASKED OWNER FOR REFUND OF 10 % FOR CONSIDERATION, GOT NONE. OWNER QUESTIONED WIFE AND I WHY WE WERE USING THE VILLA DURING THE DAY WHICH? . NO REFUND NO DISCOUNT, NOTHING. OWNER BLAMED US FOR ALL ISSUES AND DIDNT CARE ABOUT COUSTOMER SATISFACTION. WHY? OWNER WISHES TO BUY PROPERTY. VILLA QUALITY? OUTSIDE DECK, POOL, VIEWS BEAUTIFUL, VILLA INTERIOR TIRED, NOT A 3 BEDROOM, TWO BEDROOM/LOFT, LOFT HAS NO AIR CIRCULATION, NO ICE MAKER, KITCHEN POORLY DESIGNED, WASHER DRYER OLD AND TIRED, SHEETS AND BEDDING TERRIBLE. 10 HANGERS, ONE DRESSER FOR 3 BEDROOMS. BOTTOM LINE DONT RENT THIS VILLA, ONWER IS DISENGENOUS AND ITS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. HAPPY TO DISCUSS SUBJECT TO VRBO APPROVAL, HAVE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS. WILLING TO PROVIDE EMAILS AND TEXTS TO VERIFY HER COMMENTS SHE IS DISENGENOUS AND A LIAR!!!!

Wonderful getaway

From the picturesque gardens as you pull in to the unbelievable views as you walk in the front door of the private grounds, pool and bay, you feel stress melting away. The villa has amazing architecture and plenty of space to spread out. It is located in a prime location where you can traverse the island easily and see both sunrise and sunset. Wonderful memories were made!

Fabulous Property

The property exceeded our expectations with the indoor and outdoor spaces. We enjoyed a week of patio living while soaking in the views. Proximity to the the North Shore beaches was a big bonus.

Don’t Look Any Further

How many times in life does reality meet or exceed expectations? Our family had our best vacation ever at Cinnamon Day Dreams. The home is in a one of a kind setting - secluded yet close to all that St. John has to offer. The pool, the hot tub, the house - is even better than the pictures. Michelle and her team were fantastic, prior, during and even after our stay. Everything was clean. Everything worked. Primed for a luxurious stay. Only regret is it wasn’t cold enough to use the amazing fire pit. Next time. As a side note- I was anxious how we’d survive without air conditioning. Wasn’t even an issue in early July. Great breeze and house built to be open aired. The Coqui frogs and birds could get a little loud at night - but that only added to the ambience.

Quiet oasis

Loved the remoteness and quietness. The view was beautiful! We had a few issues with water pressure and the generator not automatically starting due to two power outages. My husband was able to manually start the generator and someone was sent to address the water pressure issue. I wish both main bedrooms had screen doors to keep open at night to avoid bugs coming in. But the breeze during the day was great - although We came during a hot spell on St. John and asked if we could have more fans to cool us and the owner quickly resolved that. Great center location to all main beaches and loved the quietness away from Cruz bay hustle and bustle. The view was worth it!

The perfect home in the perfect location

This is our family's second time staying at this property. We can't imagine ever staying somewhere else on St John. The house really feels like a home and is appointed with anything you could possibly need. It's quiet with stunning views. Michelle is a dream property manager. She checks on her guests regularly but is never intrusive. I can't say enough good things about this listing.

Beautiful Place

This was our second trip to St. John and second house rental. This place is truly unique as it sits in the middle of the National Park, so you feel like you have the island all to yourself! The views are simply incredible and you are very close to all the great beaches. Plus, there is the midway grocery stop just down the road and its only about 15 minutes to drive down to Cruz Bay for nightlife. Recommend this incredible place.

OMG!

This home is spectacular! If you have any hesitation about visiting this place - don't! We will definitely return! The architecture of the house coupled with the views are simply breathtaking! You will not be disappointed! Also, the owner Michelle was wonderful to deal with. She was very thorough with everything, was quick to return messages and even called us to welcome us to the home. Excellent customer service!

Wonderful St. John getaway!

Cinnamon Day Dreams was a beautiful home with an even better view! It was easy to travel to and from Cruz bay as well as a short (although steep) trip to many of the other beaches. The home was clean and the communication with the owner was great. We would recommend anyone staying here if they make a trip to St. John!
