We had a wonderful week! The property was exactly as described. Rooms were clean and the view is absolutely stunning. Loved the outdoor showers! Pool was great, plenty of seating, kitchen stocked. Beach towels and cooler so handy. Easy parking. Totally private & peaceful. The power (on the whole island) went out 5 times that week and there is no generator at this property. Didn't bother us too much but should be noted. As to other reviews, there was some peeling paint/minor repairs that could be done but they didn't affect us at all. There was both a regular coffee maker & a Keurig. I would recommend this rental to anyone with 2 couples or a family with teens. Again: gorgeous view!

Highly recommend this property! The views were incredible, the rooms were in great condition, the pool and outdoor area were even better than advertised. The communication was always quick and very helpful and the check in and check out processes were seamless. We will 100% be back!

We enjoyed our week stay. The property was clean and Chris was amazing! He took really good care of us and stayed in contact with me throughout the week. Despite the island losing power, we made the best of our time there. The two separated rooms were perfect our family. The only suggestion that I have is that you replace the patio cushions as they are pretty worn out and icky. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this villa. The ocean view is absolutely beautiful, especially from the pool area. The villa was very clean, comfortable. It needs some updates but the view was The location is also very convenient — close to Starfish Market for groceries and on the same plaza you can enjoy the best coffee at Giovanni’s. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the island. We would happily stay here again!

Beautiful view. Amazing sunsets. Very clean, comfortable nice bedrooms. This was once a much larger property that was partly demolished prob after the last big hurricane. Outdoor kitchen area is pretty basic. Grill with a side burner was the only way to cook. Bring KUERIG pods from home they are VERY expensive on the island, around 3 apiece. No other coffee pot. Good usable fridge. Small portable counter top ice maker. Best to buy a bag of ice and put it in freezer for drinks. Closest grocery is about 5 miles or so. Very dark at night driving up to the house on very narrow winding roads. Keep that in mind. Overall good experience

The location was convenient and beautiful of course, and the inside of the rooms were nice. Aside from that the pictures were somewhat misleading/old. The place is a bit more run down now, paint peeling, pool not particularly well maintained. Partial kitchen is outside and there is only a Keurig (no traditional coffee pot as pictured). The balconies are in rough shape with a ratchet strap between both balconies for additional support of some kind. Showers are outdoor only. No umbrella as pictured. Smart TVs are not so smart, had to watch the olympics from our laptop. Host answered our questions but otherwise not overly helpful. We expected more for the price compared to other villas.

The views are possibly the best on the island!! Sitting up high overlooking St. Thomas, little saint James and basically endless views. You have the opportunity to watch sunsets from the pool. Truly incredible!! The showers are open sky. The outdoor kitchen met all our needs. In all our travels, the views here might be the best. EZ and private location to start your journey touring the island’s beautiful beaches and great restaurants. (Definitely need a rental car)

Amazing view with sunsets! Private pool overlooking the water was a great way to relax. Rooms were very comfortable with private balconies. Close to Cruz Bay. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect! We could sit on our balcony and drink our coffee each morning and watch the sunset poolside each afternoon. We caught fish one day and grilled dinner several evenings. The bedrooms were spacious and well decorated and so were the bathrooms, but the rock outdoor showers connected to the restrooms were my absolute favorite! This vacation in St. John has surpassed our favorite Costa Rican vacay.

This property was amazing! The view will take your breath away and the secluded nature of the property will make you feel like you're the only person on earth. Having the 2 separate rooms was perfect with our teen, and the outdoor kitchen and showers were a fun touch. We enjoyed the little lizards and hermit crabs that visited once in a while:)Communication with both the owner and property manager was quick and easy. The entire property was spotless and well appointed with everything we could need.But it's really all about the view and the pool! Every time I walked down those stairs to the pool I felt like a millionaire! We would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Villa Belevedere. The description was exactly as described and there were no surprises. We really appreciated the extras provided like beach chairs and a cooler, which we used every day. Captain Chris was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The only reason I gave the check in process 4 stars is because I am super type A and didn’t know what to expect for check in until early afternoon on the day we arrived. It would have been great to get a message detailing the check in process so we knew what to expect. Overall, it was absolutely wonderful and we most certainly will be back.
So many turtles right in front of the house! We loved watching them every morning while we had coffee.

Lovely Stay!

This place is as amazing! The views were stunning and everything was super nice and clean. Having designated parking spots was super convenient as parking can get a little crazy there. They provided beach towels, chairs, and a cooler which was very nice so we didn’t have to rent them! Overall was a great stay the only issue we had was the person who was supposed to be in contact with us was not super responsive and we had to be the ones the reach out to him after getting in contact with the owners. The owners were super nice and helpful though and responded very quickly!

Most stunning views!

This property was absolutely amazing. Accurate description, easy check in, great space overall. The outdoor showers were so unique and cool, the pool was as amazing as I’d hoped and the views were hard to beat. Units were well-equipped and in good order. Chris was a great on site host. Would definitely stay here again if the occasion arises!

Villa Belvedere is a 3-star villa with a 5-star View

The villa cozy, modern retreat with a fantastic outdoor shower. The outdoor kitchenette is perfect for those who enjoy a bit of adventure, think of it as glamorous camping! Just be prepared for the occasional visit from the local wildlife. We had a rat drop by a couple of times. Unfortunately, the property manager was off the island and not very helpful. The villa has its quirks. The dishes in the cabinet were dirty, and the microwave door requires a special technique—push the button and pull the door at the same time. It's like a secret handshake! We had a toilet leak, and his response was to ask for more details. It felt like we were solving a mystery rather than fixing a leak. The steps down to the pool have a PVC handrail that came apart in my hand! The beach chairs are more suited for a soccer game than a beach day, but the owner reimbursed us for the rentals. The balcony pergolas are falling apart, and the property still shows significant damage from past hurricanes. The pool area and view is breathtaking. Just don't turn around and look at the property ruins from the hurricane—it kind of ruins the vibe.

Great oceanfront view

Can’t beat the views, especially at sunset. Rooms were great, and just a few minutes from Cruz Bay. Only reason we did not give five stars is because the power was out the first night, and there was no generator to provide lights or running water, so the property manager advised that we should find another place to stay and that we would be refunded for that night, so we did. But it’s been several weeks, and still no refund for the missed night.

Amazing Stay

We had an amazing stay at Villa Belvedere. Although the check in process didn’t go as smooth as we’d like, the rest of the stay was perfect. We originally coordinated with the property manager to meet us at the ferry dock but he did not show up or answer our calls which was very concerning. We eventually got in touch with him after picking up our Jeep rental and driving to the grocery store. Since it was about 3pm at this point the owner did remind us that check in was at 4pm so technically we still got in early. It was just the lack of communication that really made us worry. There was a time period where I was worried we had no place to stay so you can imagine the unnecessary elevated stress we had to start our trip. Unfortunately some of the pictures on VRBO appear to be outdated (pre hurricane) so that added to some of the initial confusion. I need to read the description again because I was also surprised to see the kitchenette being outdoors. That didn’t stop us from making fantastic pasta but again, just not up to expectations. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. I’d definitely stay there again knowing what I know now.
