Lovely home away from home

The house is amazing exactly like the photos. We truly loved our stay, and the owners were very flexible with our group. We enjoyed the house so much we extended our stay. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic place, one of the best that we’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful view of water and the pool was big and secluded. The owners were very attentive and left a great welcome basket for us when we arrived. Restaurants, groceries, and the car ferry port in Cruz Bay were all very close-by (5-10 minute drives). Would definitely stay there again

We just got back from a wonderful 9 day stay at Castaway! This place was perfect for our family of four. The reviews saying that the place was located in a "quiet area but close to all of the action in Cruz Bay" were spot on with only a five minute drive. We felt well taken care of as the ONLY hiccup we had was the grill was out of propane but a quick text and Elian was able to bring one in what felt like minutes. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and we felt we had everything we needed to cook breakfast, dinner etc. The pool was PERFECT to come home to after exploring the island all day and felt larger than what is depicted on VRBO. Thanks Todd & Steph for hosting..we got so much in during this St. Jean trip that we won't be back for a while but would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay here. The house is in a great location. It’s absolutely perfect for families. It’s spacious, clean, comfortable. The new kitchen is beautiful. The pool is great. The landscaping is beautiful. Beth the property manager was so responsive. The owners texted to see how things were. Just so friendly. I can’t say enough great things about this property. My kids loved the house. We would definitely book here again. My only negative which is not a negative really, there’s maybe 65 light switches that all control different things and I was not good at getting certain lights on and off, but that’s not a real negative. This house is wonderful. Do not hesitate to book here

Excellent Stay in Chocolate Hole

Family stay with young adult children. Space for both. Location is great. Close enough to town to enjoy it, far enough for quiet evenings. Kitchen was well stocked for home cooked meals.

Castaway is a perfect Villa

We loved our stay at Castaway Villa. The house had everything we needed and was in a great location. We would stay there again. Todd the owner was very responsive and the management company did a good job of preparing the house for our stay and welcoming us when we first got there. It would have been nice if they had checked in on us once during the week. That’s the only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5.

Incredible house in St. John!

This was our first time visiting St. John and Castaway Villa turned out to be the perfect house in the perfect location. The pool and view was amazing day and night and the house offered everything we could have needed during our stay. The location was also great being just a few minutes away from Cruz Bay and then not too far from multiple beautiful beaches. You can't go wrong with this rental and I would highly recommend Castaway VIlla to anyone travelling to the area.

Family Vacation

We had an awesome trip!! House was great! Views were amazing! Everything you need is provided and we had a/c when power was out for hours on the island which was really nice. The only negative thing I can say is the roads on St John are a challenge. Prices are very high but that was expected. Parking in town is a little bit difficult.

Extreme Happiness

We 100% LOVED staying at Poolside in Paradise at Castaway Villa! The house was very comfortable and the host and hostess have furnished everything you would need. The views along with the large pool, are phenomenal. The location is perfect - quiet area but close to fun and shopping. We highly recommend booking here. We WILL be a return guest! .

We have visited this lovely house for several years. The house is attractive, very comfortable and well-appointed. Our favorite activity is enjoying either breakfast or cocktails out by the pool taking in the fabulous view of Chocolate Hole.

Delightful Stay

This is our sixth stay. We love the open feel of the house, the view over Chocolate Hole, and the pool. It’s a short ride to pick up groceries and to go out to dinner. It’s also a short drive to all the beaches. What more could you ask for?

Loved this home! Location was awesome, beautiful views of Chocolate Hole. The pool was large enough for laps in the morning. We cooked in a few times and the kitchen had everything we needed. Management company was fantastic, made the arrival easy. A few issues: The mattress in the bedroom off of the pool needs to be replaced, very lumpy and uncomfortable. The kitchen could use a remodel as tiles are separating and the countertops are very worn.

Family Trip January 2025

We very much enjoyed our stay at Castaway Villa and found the home to be very clean and comfortable. We loved the location as very convenient to grocery stores, Downtown Cruz Bay and the many beaches. We also felt the house provided a private setting with beautiful views of Chocolate Hole Bay. We loved the fact the beach chairs, coolers and snorkeling gear were provided at the house which came in very handy as we traveled to different beaches each day. The property management team of Todd and Stephanie were super responsive and lovely to work with. We will most certainly be coming back to Castaway Villa as we had a wonderful memorable Family Trip!!!
