St John Perfection

My wife and I celebrated our 10-year anniversary at this amazing spot in paradise and it was absolutely perfect. From the views and the pool to the location that had us close to everything but far enough away to feel secluded, this easily takes the #1 spot for best VRBO we've ever stayed at.

Serenity

Rendezvous by the sea was nothing short of perfection. The calming of the waves, the beautiful clear blue water, the weather and location location location. Just 10 mins from Cruz bay this was the perfect spot to be out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy dinner and shopping. St. John will never disappoint and neither does this studio.

Spectacular

This property exceeded our expectations! Amazing location on the water. Host was very accommodating and responsive. I would highly recommend it to friends and family. My only suggestion would be to add a kitchen space for food prep and storage. Otherwise it had everything we needed to make our trip to St.John’s so special and memorable.

Beautiful location

We stayed in the upper level room, the views are incredible. The pool is beautiful but quite chilly, didn’t use it much, we explored in the day and late afternoon the sun was gone from pool area. The room is a average hotel size and a large bathroom. We used the microphone to make a breakfast, we wished we has a toaster but we made it work. You must have a car, the roads are quite steep but the house is only 10 minutes to town.. we used St John Jeep and they let you park in their lot after 5pm. Internet was spotty and cell service came and went.. hosts were very kind.

Paradiiiiise

From the moment we arrived, the hosts welcomed us and made us feel at home. We had total privacy in our unit, enjoying spectacular sunrises, views of the bay, and ocean breezes and the sound of the waves. The private rocky beach had comfortable chairs and a kayak which we used to cross the bay. Resort-level pool felt so private and luxurious overlooking the Caribbean. We will be back. Caron and Dave are lovely and inspiring people. Thank you so much for sharing your dream home with us.

Breathtakingly Beautiful!

If you're looking for the perfect blend of tranquility and luxury, this adults-only accommodation is an absolute gem. Nestled in the peaceful Monte Bay the private space offered for us was perfect escape to unwind and recharge. The owners? Absolutely delightful! It’s clear they genuinely care about making your stay unforgettable. Whether lounging in the serene surroundings or soaking in the calm atmosphere, every moment felt like a little piece of paradise. Can’t wait to return to this oasis of calm! Highly recommend!

A slice of Paradise

Paradise Found

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful location for 4 nights. The pictures do not do it justice. The views are amazing. The property is very private. We enjoyed coming back in the evening to sit on the deck snd listen to the crashing waves as the sunset. We hope to be back in the future.

Romantic getaway

We stayed at Rendezvous by the Sea for a week in early January to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was absolutely perfect for our needs: private and quiet, with gorgeous views of Monte Bay, yet still convenient, just minutes from Cruz Bay dining options and the Northshore beaches. Our guest suite was stocked with all the essentials, including beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel gear, and a nice cooler. You'll need to rent a car to stay here and get around the island. Be sure to explore some of the less busy beaches, like the one at Saltpond Bay, where we were lucky enough to swim with some sea turtles. Our hosts, Caron and Dave, were gracious and very quick to respond to our questions. We will happily stay at Rendezvous by the Sea again should we get the chance!

Paradise on earth

We were blown away at the beauty and location of this place! It was like something out of a dream or something you only see in movies. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, and helped us with any questions about the island. The stay was wonderful and beautiful and clean. The pool overlooking the bay was wonderful to take a swim in after a day of adventure on the island. Very close to Cruz bay which is where you will find most of the restaurants shops and markets. We will be here again! I highly recommend staying here

The Best Spot on St. John!

This was absolutely the best spot on the whole island and we are so happy we chose to stay here. We even got stuck here due to a tropical storm and Carin and Dave extended our stay. They were super welcoming and had everything we needed. They had snorkel gear, chairs, towels & a perfect cooler! The pool was wonderful and we even enjoyed the small hike to the beach everyday. We got to enjoy their kayaks a couple times to go to the other parts of the bay. (We saw 2 huge sea turtles while kayaking) We just can’t say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be planning another trip here.

Even Better Than The Pictures

Caron was wonderful to work with. We felt very welcome in her place. She takes immaculate care of everything. She takes pride in having others enjoy her place. The view overlooking the pool is even more impressive than the pictures show. We highly recommend you give this place a try. HINT: We also recommend renting a 4WD vehicle.

Stunning views

Our 2nd time here for a reason … great little place away from town. Private, peaceful , gorgeous! There are kayaks to use and a swimming pool . A grill if you want to hang out and enjoy all that this little gem has to offer, which we did. They have a cooler, beach chairs ,beach towels and snorkel equipment you can take to the beaches, definitely a plus ! And the owners Caron and Dave are just super ! Love it here !!

Just what we needed!

Rendezvous by the Sea was just what we needed! The property is beautiful! Caron and Dave have done a wonderful job with landscaping and creating the perfect spot on St.John. It’s close enough to Cruz Bay to enjoy the restaurants and shopping, but in a quiet lovely neighborhood with lots of privacy. We stayed in the top unit and it had everything we needed. The views are spectacular! Having access to the beach and use of the kayaks was a real bonus. We visited several beaches during our visit and enjoyed a couple of days just hanging out at the property and kayaking and snorkeling in Rendezvous Bay.

Stay at Rendevous Bay

This was our second visit to this lovely place. We had the upstairs unit which has a beautiful view of the bay. This is a studio unit with a king bed, large bathroom and patio. There’s a keurig coffee maker(bring extra if you drink a lot of coffee). There is a small fridge and a microwave. In the bathroom there are plates, silverware,bowls and a cutting board. We ate breakfast in and packed lunch daily. We used the gas grill twice and made steak,potatoes and veggies. There’s a lovely octagonal pool looking out at the harbor. In the afternoon there’s shade by the pool and on the patios. There’s a path down to a lovely rocky beach and there are chairs to sit in by the water. There are 2 person kayaks which we used to paddle across to Ditcleif beach. The snorkeling from their beach is great when there are calm winds and the snorkeling across the bay was also lovely. The owners, Caron and Dave, are lovely people and very accommodating. They have a sweet cat who roams around but doesn’t go in the rooms. There’s a great parking spot which is very easy to access. You can walk along the road viewing the harbor. We definitely recommend this wonderful place for couples. The view is magical !

Rendezvous Bay Beauty

Beautiful, quiet location. All I ever heard was the wind, water, and birds. Wonderfully architectured property felt like a five star resort. The begonia lined drive and the plants on the property topped off the paradise feel. We snorkeled along the reef just below the villa with the gear provided by our host. It was beautiful coral with easy access. Great starter snorkeling!

Slice of Heaven

This property is beyond amazing. My well appointed and guest suite was very clean and incredible views and sounds, such as the ocean waves crashing below. The hosts are very attentive and helpful. The only negative is that I had no (Verizon) cell service in the area.

perfect vacation

To get away from the cold weather for a few days was just what we needed and Caron and Dave’s place was perfect. It was a cozy room with amazing views. We loved it and hope to stay again sometime in the future!

Best place to stay

The property is beautiful and just as described. Bed is super comfy and we had everything we needed during our stay. If you plan to snorkel, I'd bring or rent your own masks (we had issues with them). And definitely bring bug spray, or you'll get eaten alive.

Island perfection

This VRBO was perfect for my 3rd trip to St. John. Owners have a little slice of heaven! The location, VIEW, decor, pool and the little extras; beach chairs, snorkel gear, towels made the visit relaxing and easy. Owners are very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend Rendevous by the Sea ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
