Awesome Holiday Vacation

What a great Thanksgiving we had at Virgin Seabreeze. It was such an ideal setting. A definate gem of the Caribbean! A definate two thumbs up!

Myself, adult daughters , son-in-law, and two children ages three and one had a lovely day in this beautiful Villa. The central living area was great and the outdoor areas were beautiful all areas with gorgeous views. The only negative I have was that it was really difficult/impossible to lock the guest house.. We just put anything valuable in the main house when we left.. The Villa is in a quiet location but only a short drive away to many beautiful beaches and areas.

Great Villa

We had a blast staying at this villa, which is perfect for entertaining a small group of guests. The outdoor kitchen was a really fun thing and gorgeous, and it was nice for us to mostly have our own/a couple's space to retreat to. The only issue we had was that there seems to be a family of bats (!!) living on the roof outside of the house. Bats are part of the natural island fauna, so it is to be expected, but I was terrified at night :( I don't want that to take away from how truly perfect the space was. Nice sized, gorgeous pool that was almost better than the pictures. Lots of outdoor deck space. Great bathrooms, one with an outdoor shower if you're into that, but it's pretty secluded so other guests won't just see you. I could also always find what I needed around. Nice sized washer and dryer to boot, and a dishwasher. All these things made the place just super comfortable!

This home was breathtaking! I absolutely loved the semi open outdoor shower!! Plenty of room !!

From beginning to end the whole process was wonderful. Great communication with the rental company. So nice to have the island greater meet us at the ferry dock and take us to the home. Pool was too cold to swim in. We missed the hot tub mostly as our family loves to gather there in the evenings.

The view from this villa was spectacular! We enjoyed every minute here! We loved the location! It was worth the drives into town! St John is a very special place and we all hope to return! Would rent this villa again!

Beautiful Place and Views

The property management team was great and very easy to deal with. The house has a great layout and an awesome outdoor grilling and sitting area. It’s very quiet with a lovely view.

It was what we dreamed of!

Our trip and this villa was truly, the stuff of dreams! The layout of the rooms was perfect for our family of three couples and 1 single guest. Te communal space was comfortable and inviting and the view!!! Words don’t capture it adequately. It is hard to say so long. I do expect we will be back’

Beautiful property far off the beaten path

We loved our stay at Virgin Seabreeze! Gorgeous property with plenty of space for large groups and a lot of separation. The common areas are completely separate from the bedrooms which is nice for privacy. The house came with everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. There are stairs to get from the driveway to the main living area (two bedroom guest house), the kitchen/dining/living room/loft, and separate bedroom with outdoor bathroom. Then there are stairs to get down to the pool deck and lower bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The driveway is very steep, so you will want to rent a vehicle that has plenty of clearance and someone who can navigate well. The check in process was a little stressful as our timing didn't quite match up with what we thought it would be, so we felt rushed by our greeter. We had to follow her from the rental car area to the house and had a tough time keeping up on the winding roads, especially on our first drive to the house. However, once we got there she was helpful with giving us the lay of the property and we were pleasantly surprised by the welcome gift of locally made banana chips and salsa. Overall the experience was really fantastic and we all loved the house/location very much.

Amazing views, very nice property

We had a great week here. The view of the national park is amazing and visible from just about every room of the house. We really ending the outside eating area, with its epic stone table, swimming pool, and hot tub. Beds were comfortable and clean. It was obvious this property is kept up nicely and nothing felt run down or neglected. The kids really enjoyed the loft. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and did not feel crowded. The only downside that comes to mind is if you’re used to staying in the Cruz Bay area, this is a bit far flung, about 15 minutes past Star Fish Market. But not so bad and the view (did i mention the view??) makes up for it!

Paradise in Paradise

Overall the Virgin Seabreeze is fantastic, the spaciousness, the cleanliness, the overall atmosphere and the view is just fantastic. It was alot larger than we expected and the outdoor shower was a very pleasant surprise. Of course the veranda in the morning for the sunrise is just phenomenal and the morning visitor, the little bird, was just so pleasant. Not enough good things to say about the property except you need to book it if you are gong to St. John.

Perfect vacation spot

I would recommend Virgin Seabreeze to anyone wanting a peaceful vacation. St. John looks great and we had a fabulous time. Beautiful views and the house had everything we needed and more. Caribbean villas took great care of us from the minute we landed to meeting us at the dock when we left. I would highly recommend Caribbean Villas and Virgin Seabreeze.

Excellent property with sub-par property management

Let me start by saying the the location and amenities of this Villa are exceptional. Close enough to Cruz Bay that you can enjoy all the shops and restaurants but secluded enough that you can feel alone if you want. The buildings are very nice and contain most modern amenities. The pool was great for relaxing as was the hot tub. Both received full sun until ~1PM and remained shaded the balance of the day. The issues we had with our stay had 100% to do with the property management company. When we arrived we were shown the property and left to enjoy the property but before leaving the greeter gave us phone numbers to contact the office if we needed anything and also provided us with an emergency number for after hours if it was needed. Those numbers were useless as no one answered the phone... We notice when we went to prepare dinner that there was no gas in the house so the stove and oven were inoperable. The igniter for the grill didn't function and there were no lighters in the house so we had no way to cook. To add insult to injury the hot water heaters in the villa were also shut off. We began calling the management company at 6PM on Friday evening (leaving messages on both the main island office, the emergency number, and the main office in the US) and we didn't actually speak to anyone until shortly after 5 on Saturday evening. In the meantime, my wife and I were able to located the gas tank on Saturday mid afternoon and turn it on allowing us to cook, and locate the hot water heater breakers shortly there after to take hot showers. You really shouldnt spend this kind of money to travel and stay here and not have access to the basics. You also shouldnt have to beg for help with an item you paid for.

Perfect choice for our family

We love staying on the Reef Bay side of the island and was looking for a larger place for our family of 6 and this house was perfect! We loved all the areas you could hang out in and the views and breezes were great! Our favorite was the covered outdoor kitchen/table area! All the bedrooms/bathrooms were nice. The kitchen was well stocked and the family room even had games. The pool area was nice but stayed quite cool with the winds and shade. We also enjoyed the hot tub under the stars. I wouldn't recommend this home for anyone with mobility issues or small children due to all the stairs. The master bedroom does require stepping outside to reach its bathroom. But the outdoor shower was wonderful! It was also nice to have a washer/dryer. The hike to the beach requires driving to the next street and than a bit of a hike down a steep area. But it was well marked and had rope handles. Worth the hike for the private beach! About a 20 minute drive into Cruz Bay.

Incredible !!!

My experience while staying at Virgin Seabreeze was absolutely incredible. What a beautiful, quiet and relaxing setting. The view of Reef Bay, from so many areas of the house, was just spectacular. The house itself was very comfortable, but we spent considerable time each day traveling throughout the island. This great location provided easy access to grocery shopping, Cruz Bay as well as some of the most beautiful beaches along the north shore. My daughter and I loved this house and we hope to return very soon. I would like to say thank you to the owners for sharing their home and for enabling this wonderful experience.

Amazing way to start 2014!

Our trip to Virgin Seabreeze was absolutely spectacular!! It is hard to even find the words to explain to people how amazing the villa, the view, the weather, the beaches, the snorkeling, the exploring, the driving........ was! The villa met our every expectation and then some..... Loved the outside shower! Morning coffee at the outside table was my favorite, and my husband loved cooking at the grill! We had 3 teens with us and they loved every moment as well! The pictures on the web site, are an actual representation of the property- it is that great! Thank you for an amazing experience~ We WILL be back!

Tranquility and beautiful views!

Just returned from a one week stay at virgin seebreeze. I was our 6th time in St. John and we even got married there 2 years ago. We have sayed at various locations in St. John including past sloop johns on the east end. This location gives you the peace, tranquility, and amazing views of the east end yet the conveniences of being close to town. The villa is beautiful and well maintained. The outdoor space was ample and the landscaping amazing. The villa was well appointed by Caribbean villas. We have found in the past that either the cleaning people strip the villa of basics or the property management companies just don't go a good job of stocking the necessities. The villa was so lovely and the views so beautiful that we found ourselves staying there more often then going to the beaches and we go there primarily or the beaches! It is a 15 minute drive to town which isn't bad. We did hike down to the trial a d o reef bay beach. Didn't go in the water but its a nice walk and I would recommend it. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this villa!
