We brought our extended family of 14 for a week long vacation (including 6 kids under 7yrs old) and we were very happy with everything about the houses.The main house and villa were clean and well stocked with everything you would need for a long vacation. We had plenty of space for everyone and didnt even use all the bedrooms. The location is on the quieter side of the island (Fish Bay) which was nice for us. The pool was nice to relax on days we weren't running around and the views were amazing. All the restuarants and shopping in Cruz Bay is only 10 minutes away too. Quick responses from the owner and management company when anything was needed too.

We were a party of 11 and had an amazing vacation! The villa was situated in a great area, allowing us easy access to Cruz Bay, the North shore and Coral Bay. Our villa was clean and spacious with 7 bedrooms! The beds were incredibly comfortable and appreciated after full days of hiking, snorkeling and swimming. The view of Fish bay was lovely from the upper deck. The kitchen was fully stocked and we made great meals and drinks most evenings. A beautiful island for sure! Thank you

The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook easily. We appreciated that there was some tupperware available for leftovers. The pool was good. We didn't spend too much time there, but it was great when we needed it. Beautiful views!

We really liked the location and set up of the house!! Absolutely loved the well stocked kitchen as we cooked most days - perfect! We did run out of propane the 2nd time we used the grill and the lights in the screened-in porch did not work. Great place for a large group

We had a fantastic week at Crystal Shores. The property is beautiful and well maintained. There were 12 of us that stayed and everyone commented on how it never felt like it was crowded due to the size of the property. Directions to the property and check in were easy. Anytime I had a question the property manager responded within minutes via text. They have everything you need here from the coolers and chairs for the beach to a well stocked kitchen. Definitely would stay here again with a large group of friends and family. Thanks for letting us borrow your beautiful home for a week.

The kitchen and main dining room area were amazing. It was nice that it was all big one open space so you could connect together. It was nice that they had left over items like spices or condiments so that we didnt have to purchase those. The pool was incredible and the beds were sooo comfortable.

The home was just just as advertised. Beautiful and spacious! Check in qas good but language barrier with greeter caused some inconvenience. We had to call property mgmnt several times for things we may have been able to figure out ourselves. But management was very responsive. It should be noted that there are MANY stairs to get to the different levels of the property. Outside lighting was an issue but again mgmt responded. Also if you are not renting a jeep you will have to find someone to take away garbage. We were a large group (13). I would LOVE to come back to this property but the Natives are unfriendly.

Stunning!! Beyond what we imagined. This house is a must stay. Besides the 7 private…I mean PRIVATE…(no rooms next to across from, they are all spread apart) they views and scenery were out of a magazine. The pool was clean and had everything you’d need. A large dinning area with a grill that we fully used for our dinners. Had 2 or 3 iguanas, and many many lizards stop by to say hi. The beds were super comfy, and pillow soft. The dark out curtains were a nice touch! Thank you. Easy to contact the host for anything. We would love to come again. Definitely rent a vehicle though, we did. Thank goodness. About a 15 minute drive to the beach, store on your way. Plenty of nice restraints right there too. But to visit other beaches like Maho (our favorite) it’s about 25 mins. Worth it but a bit of a trip if paying for taxis (no Ubers on the island or golf carts). The house has everything you need. Even spices and condiments left behind. Cards and a few games. We barely watched tv but there’s a nice big area for all to sit comfortably and enough relax time.

Very nice vacation getaway!

All in all our entire group was very satisfied and enjoyed this vacation Home. This location is great for large groups. The main kitchen and dining area were excellent with very nice views off of the attached decking. Our only complaint was with one bedroom in the lower level of the main house that obviously had a smoker that previously stayed there. We would definitely book this location again!

Perfect Vacation Home in Fish Bay – Spacious, Comfortable, and Fully Equipped!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful house in Fish Bay! Our group of 16 was comfortably accommodated – there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The layout is perfect for large groups, with a great mix of shared spaces and private areas.The home had everything we needed for a stress-free vacation – from a well-stocked kitchen to beach gear, towels, and more. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. The setting in Fish Bay is stunning – peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature, yet just a short drive to town, beaches, and trails.Whether we were relaxing by the pool, cooking together, or heading out to explore, this house truly felt like a home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay – highly recommend and would absolutely return!

Very peaceful location

Loved being away from the hustle of city center. Very peaceful. Property had everything you need to cook and relax. Only one thing that I think needs to be addressed. The drivers that pick you up should not be expected to help us dispose of trash. There should be trash removal service. Only complaint!

Family Celebration

Crystal Shores Estate was the perfect place for our family getaway. It was beautiful and had everything you needed for a wonderful stay. We didn't need the guest house but it was lovely too. The views were amazing and so many options to enjoy the outdoors in addition to the great room. We really enjoyed the saltwater pool. The property management team, Caribbean Villas was wonderful but be careful when trying to reach them- if on the north side of St John, call may ping off BVI and call won't go through. We will definitely recommend this property.

Fish Bay St John estate vacation

Loved the house and guest house arrangement. This is really 3 2 bedroom units and one lower efficiency. Each unit has one or two bathrooms plus laundry. Lots of privacy with a great common space great room and outdoor pool and veranda. The only glitch, compared to other VRBO stays, is that the owner does not list the property owner within the VRBO app, so messaging within the app does not work. This is a hassle, since you have to go looking for emails and communicating with Caribbean Villas independent of VRBO. Caribbean villas was awesome and very responsive most of the time. But the Estate could easily improve by listing CV as the contact within the app, making everything as easy as possible for guests.

Perfect place to stay for a large group

We were very impressed with Crystal Shores! The owner and property managers were very communicative, the location was great (about 15 min or a 12 shuttle ride to Cruz Bay) and the house and villa were very clean. Great view of the bay, and the pool area was fun to hang out at. We had 19 people there so utilized the house and villa. Would absolutely stay again with a group that large. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

Beautiful private escape with plenty of space and amazing views!

The host was gracious enough to let our large extended family enjoy their new rental as they get it re-furnished and refreshed. What a beautiful island escape with amazing privacy and plenty of spaces indoor and out to spread out (or come together)! The location is perfect with easy access up to the famous northern beaches or quick drive over to our favorite island town, Cruz Bay. A true island gem!
