Our trip to St.John was wonderful. The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. We rented the truck which was great to have to take to the beaches everyday! Jeff was very easy to coordinate and communicate with through the entire process. We already want to come back

Everything was great. Jeff, the owner, was very responsive and every person we met along the way between getting the truck and letting us in the house was great.The view was the best we have had in St. John (5th time visiting) and was great for both sunrise and sunset. House was clean and had everything we needed. We rented the truck and was one of the highlights of the trip. We will be back in the future!

We had an amazing stay at Casa Yaya. We had a group of 6, ages 9-72. The younger ones used the loft, they thought it was cool. You do use a ladder to get up there, so keep that in mind. It had everything we needed and we cooked in alot. The communication before and during our stay was great. I had a situation with a suitcase being left at the airport and Jeff was super helpful with suggestions. We rented the truck too. It was such a smooth process for pick up and drop off. Thanks Rick! The house is on top of the mountain, so the view is amazing! That being said, the ride up is pretty steep, not unusual for St. John. Definitely worth it!

The house is absolutely beautiful!! The views are amazing!! Having the option of renting the truck from owner is an added bonus. The outdoor showers were definitely new to me but having fresh air while showering was amazing. The kitchen had a lot of spices and plenty of pots and pans. There were wonderful pool floats available to use. The outside closet had 6 beach chairs, beach tent, back pack cooler, a small and medium hard coolers, snorkel mask and flippers and additional pool floats. The owner checked on us by text several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The weather was absolutely beautiful during our stay so hanging out on the pool deck was a must. Plenty of chairs and additional table with chairs was available.

Casa yaya was an excellent choice for our family of 6, including high school and college aged children. Renting the casa yaya truck was absolutely essential for getting around to all the different beaches we wanted to visit. We enjoyed great weather and especially enjoyed the views from the house. We would 100% recommend!

Outstanding home with amazing view

We have been to Coral Bay multiple times and this was the best property we have stayed in. All the furniture is very comfortable, the bedrooms are amazing, and the kitchen is well appointed. The view from the deck and bedrooms is stunning and the pictures do not do it justice. The location is so convenient, with Love City and Dolphin markets and the Coral Bay restaurants less than 5 minutes away. By St John standards, this was a pretty easy place to get to, and the driveway is a great size. The deck is shaded in the afternoon, making it an ideal place to unwind after a day at the beaches. There is a good selection of beach furniture and snorkeling gear which we really appreciated. We had as much fun at the house as we did out and about on the island. Communication was fantastic from the owners and property managers. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful View

Our family had a wonderful one-week stay at Casa Yaya. In addition to the amazing views, the house was fully stocked with kitchen amenities, washer/dryer, pool toys, beach chairs/floats, toiletries, paper products, towels, etc. One of the hosts met us and escorted us to the house to make sure we found the property - which was very helpful! She got us situated and showed us where everything was in the home. The house is located nearby many beaches - 15-20min to Maho, Cinnamon, Trunk, Salt Pond Bays. We went to all - but our favorite was Maho where we saw turtles!We rented the truck through the house and were very thankful we did as the roads in St John certainly require a rugged vehicle - steep roads, tight turns, dirt/gravel.The grandparents stayed in the two main level bedrooms, while the parents and kids stayed in the upper loft. The loft is very spacious, although the only access is a wooden ladder that is very tightly situated near one of the bedrooms. We went up and down that ladder a lot throughout the week.Everyone loved the pool - which allows for a prime location to view the islands!We loved every minute! Thank you!

Awesome 9 days in paradise

From the time I booked to the time we left we were taken care of. The owner reached out and had the on island staff connected with us for our arrival. First off, rent the yaya truck. The truck seats 10 or holds a small household with 2 ladies. Bags, beverages and food. It’s dropped in St Thomas at the airport and you drop it back there. It’s also way cheaper and 4wd compared to the jeep scene. The house itself is amazing. Breathtaking views from each room. No AC in the main living but you don’t need it. Cold AC and comfortable beds in the master suites. The outdoor showers are private and adds to the island life appeal. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and people leave spices and staples behind for you to use. There’s an extra drink fridge in the living area closest to the pool. Next part is the pool. It’s large enough for all guests, plenty of shade in the afternoon and views that people dream of. Dining table for 8 plus Adirondack chairs to take in the stars. The property has other houses around but all parts are super private. There is a gate to enter the property if it makes you feel secure, it’s there to keep the goats out! Coral Bay does not disappoint…better that Cruz Bay!!! Small places, good service and great food… try anything. I can’t brag enough about YaYa and our time there. We are coming back!

Paradise!

We had the best time staying at Casa Yaya overlooking Coral Bay! The view from the house is absolutely stunning—perched up in the hills with a perfect look over the town and bay below. The house itself is super comfortable and inviting, and we especially loved the afternoon shade over the pool and deck. It was the perfect spot to cool off and relax during the heat of the day.Our kids (13 and 9) were obsessed with the loft and had a blast sleeping up there. They had no issues with the ladder, though I can see why its not recommended for much younger kids. Having access to coolers, snorkel gear, and beach chairs made hopping around to different beaches so easy.We also rented a truck through Casa Yaya, which worked out great for our group. The kids loved riding in the back, and having the vehicle waiting for us at the airport made the whole experience seamless. Fair warning: the roads up to the house are a little intense at first, but by the end of our trip, we were handling them like locals.Make sure to check out Maho if you want to see a bunch of animals and Trunk Bay for an unrivaled view, hands down. And do yourself a favor and get the turkey reuben at Skinny Legs. Don't forget to wash it down with a painkiller!If you're looking to explore St. John in a quieter, more laid-back setting, Casa Yaya is an amazing choice. We'd absolutely stay here again!

Views as advertised---the perfect location

Casa YaYa was just the right speed for our family, which loves privacy and relaxation on vacation. We picked the house for its location and view, both of which were as good as advertised. We all spent as much time as possible out on the deck, and more than one nap was taken in the rope hammocks during afternoon siesta time. At this time of year (April), the breezes were cool and wonderful. The only thing folks need to be aware of is that the loft is not a sleeping option for young kids. Our 5yo (who is very brave for her age) was too afraid of the ladder to make the ascent, and even our 11yo refused to do it more than once. But they both loved the house, and we are definitely planning to go back.

Magical Trip

Family of six (two kids, parents, and grandparents) had a special week in paradise. The house was as advertised and the location and amenities were great. The quiet side of the island still has some great restaurants, grocery stores, and plenty of hikes. Miss that view and can’t wait to come back someday!

A great week on St. John

We greatly enjoyed our week on St. John, the stay in Casa YaYa, and the additional rental of their truck. The home was as advertised...very clean, in great shape, and awesome views from high on the hillside above Coral Bay. Everything worked, having chairs, snorkel gear, and coolers avaiable was a big help as were the washer/dryer. While we did use the pool, our only mild complaint was it was too cold to stay in.for long. Otherwise, we enjoyed St. John a ton, went to many beaches, saw lots of fish, turtles, rays, even a barracuda! Will be back again...

Paradise!

This property has million-dollar views. They are breathtaking. We were pinching ourselves every time we took in the scenery. The villa itself is comfortable and cozy with all supplies/equip needed for the kitchen, including spices. The bedrooms are beautiful and cozy and the a/c was so nice. It was wonderful to have a washer and dryer. The showers are semi-outdoors; they have 4 walls but the top half above head is open air yet covered with roof. Showers were amazing with the tradewinds blowing in! We made friends with a cute lizard who lives on one of the shower lights:) It was a very quiet location and we loved waking up for magnificent sunrises every morning while listening to the roosters, goats, and donkeys! The pool was perfect and my son loved swimming every evening. The flora and fauna along the driveway and backyard are beautiful and we watched hummingbirds every day. We love the Coral Bay side of the island as it is more laid-back and quiet but just a 15-20 min drive to North Shore beaches and 20-25 to Cruz Bay (beautiful drive too!). As others have said, the road and driveway are a little precarious at first, but do it once and it’s easy! Communication with the hosts was flawless and we were even allowed graciously to check in early, as the previous people had checked out very early. We really appreciated this! We already miss Casa Yaya!

We had an amazing stay at Casa YaYa!! It was such a great location just up the hill from two fantastic spots ( Johnny Lime and Skinny Legs)! The property had everything you could need!! The pool and deck had amazing views!! Perfect family vacation!

Fabulous house, location and host!

We’ve been to STJ many times over the years. Took another couple with us for this trip. Cannot say enough good things about the house. It was perfect for the four of us. Had everything we needed and then some. Our hosts pretty much thought of everything and were highly responsive. We had beautiful views and sunrises. Also got to enjoy beautiful starry nights. Coral Bay is the quieter side of the island which is exactly what we like. We will definitely return to Casa Yaya

Absolute Paradise!

First time staying in Coral Bay and won't be our last! Love the views, restaurants and stores - such a great community feel. We also couldn't have been happier with Casa YaYa, what a beautiful property that had everything you could ask for. Only problem is that between the pool & the views, you didn't want to leave the house, but we did - so many beautiful beaches and great hikes to enjoy. Thank you Jeff & Maria for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

Stunning replicated views enjoyed on large comfortable deck.

Views just as represented. Expansive deck with pool.Comfortable king rooms / en-suite bath rooms.Need filtered water for drinking water (common for island).Loft too steep ladder for small kids. Fine for 10 years or so. If you trust kids with climbing a high dive ladder, then they are fine for here.Make sure you rent an SUV for rough road clearance. Highly recommend.

Casa Ya Ya - so hard to leave!

We took the family for our first USVI stay. Kids ages 10 and 6. This property delivered the ideal experience for our group. We loved the location, away from crowds and noise, yet close to conveniences like groceries and restaurants. We loved the private pool and beautiful patio for stargazing and enjoying the views of coral bay. One of the best stocked kitchens we have seen in a rental helped produce some home cooked meals to remember too! Would definitely book here again if back in St John.
