"The parking area was safe and conveniently located to the hotel - no long walks required The hotel was beautiful and had lovely landscaped gardens which were well maintained. Staff were very opleasant and helpful and everywhere was clean It is a historic building with a wow factor but is up to date inside. We had a standard room which was lovely Dinner was great with plenty of choices and we will definitely stay again pamela"

"I parked right outside my room - literally 10 feet away from the door, so parking was ideal! Laura was extremely helpful and very professional (other than the Pineapple juice - but we had words about that 😂). The room itself was very well presented and clean. Breakfast was lovely, and again, Laura was at hand to ensure a speedy and efficient service, also making sure the air temperature was ok for us. I don't usually write reviews, but this place deserves a positive mention. "

"Great food at dinner and breakfast however the room was freezing cold as hotel have not turned heat in yet . Portable radiator in room was on high the entire stay. Little things such as toilet running all night , heated towel rail broken. Could stay again IF other rooms had heat. "

"Very clean and very comfortable, with very good air conditioning - very welcome on the hottest day of the year! My only criticism is the booking process guidelines are not clear and the online system needs improvement. It was not made clear that we would not receive the email with access instructions until the security process was completed and the deposit paid. Then, when trying to pay the deposit, it was not clear that Amex was not accepted and the system just said "declined" right at the...
