"On arrival our room was upgraded to a large seaview room with a walk in shower which was a very nice welcome. The Pump room bar is excellent with a cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food both at breakfast and in the evening venues is top notch. Dining is a particular highlight which should not be missed with a very good menu expertly prepared and served to a really high standard. "

"We had a lovely stay at The Boathouse. We had a Seaview room and it was spotlessly clean. We had dinner and breakfast here and both was fantastic. We will definitely be back!"

"Lovely place but we visited at the coldest time of the year and the heating could have been much more powerful. An EV charger or two would have been very helpful here but I think perhaps I’m asking a bit too much here. "

"Issues about the room Open the door - strong musky smell even with the window open. On arrival in the room I had to remove 5 spiders (each in different corners of the room) aswell as several cobwebs. Carpet had a massive stain upon entering the room which probably added to the musky smell. Room uninviting and very small for double. Décor was 1970's styled, looking incredibly dated. Bath had large scattered spots of paint so you certainly wouldn't bath in it. Can’t shave as there’s no plug in...
