"The Red Oyster House (ROH) is just as charming as can be. The hosts have put a lot of thought into the details and have provided many amenities, both small and large. "This home sits right on the water! It is beautiful! We watched ships roll by, ducks bobbing on the water, and flocks of geese flying and landing on the water. The view from both lower and upper decks are amazing! We spent lots of time on the decks even though it was cold - we just covered ourselves with blankets. "I spent my summers with my grandparents in southern Maryland catching crabs and enjoying the water. This rental did not disappoint. The pictures and description are true to the property. We loved hanging out on the pier while the girls tried to catch crabs, paddle boarding down to Solomons and past my grandparents' old house, and eating breakfast with the most beautiful view. "The cottage was beautifully restored and decorated. I could imagine the generations of families that enjoyed the place. Our hosts were wonderful and very helpful.The only downside was the outside deck has not been restored.I would definitely recommend this place to someone seeking a quiet getaway."
