This property is located conveniently next to the porpoise point ramp on vilano beach. There are plenty of restaurants near by and it is just a stones throw away from downtown st Augustine and st Augustine beach. The property is appointed with everything you need for a weekend stay. The bed was comfortable and the villa was clean. The pool in the back is on the smaller side, but was very clean and we enjoyed it. The back deck is really nice too. It was pet friendly which ultimately swayed our decision to stay here.
With that being said, the reason I did not give this villa 5 stars, was because it is attached directly to a pub. Not next to a pub, in the SAME building, with a small pub storage closet separating our bedroom from the bar. THIS WAS NOT DISCLOSED IN THE LISTING. There were bands that played from 7-10pm Friday and Saturday night on the pubs back patio, which shares a fence with the pool patio of this villa. It was so loud it sounds like the band is playing in this property. The pub does not close until midnight and we could hear the music/bass from the bar and people on the deck of the pub every single night until slightly after close. My wife and I slept with ear plugs in and could still hear the music/people. It was extremely frustrating after wanting to have a relaxing weekend getaway. VRBO said I could cancel and they would refund me but I found it hard to find a last minute alternative that would allow 2 dogs. Pub staff came into our pool area several times
