The property managers communicated very well. There are ways to "Word" descriptions that may disguise the overall aesthetics of the rental. The neighborhood the unit is in seems to be going through a transformation and it should be noted that security coconscious renters may want to take additional precautions. Important to note is that we found the master bedroom bed so uncomfortable we did not spend a second night in the unit and even moved out onto the couch. Also note, the third bed bunks are only suitable for young children.

Fantastic suite. Clean, well equipped with great amenities, very spacious. Loved the tribute to Ray Charles, the location, beds, balcony, elevator and parking. Will definitely stay here again when making a trip back.

This place was very clean and specious. It was perfect for our family of 5. We really loved the walk ability to downtown. There were lots of homes boarded up and or under renovations around it which was a bit concerning when we got there but we did not have a safety issue. The kitchen was not stocked with coffee filters, salt and pepper etc. No big deal, we made due but just so others are aware. Overall we were very happy with our stay here.

Love The Ray

We’ve now stayed on the 2nd floor and 3rd floor. 2nd floor is such a nice size. Feels so spacious. Comfortable beds. Walk in closet is so nice for longer stays with more “stuff” . Everything we needed really. Loved the short walk to The Lightner where the wedding events were held.

Walking Distance to downtown

This property was very clean and spacious. Had everything we needed and was in walking distance to alot of cool places. Parking was awesome. We did not have to pay extra for this. The host was very responsive and kept us informed. Highly Recommend!

Sister trip

There were six of us sisters coming from four different states!!! We loved the Ray !!! And it was beautifully decorated,beds were comfortable. The only issue we did have was the check in time and of course was no fault of Danny and team. We really didn’t want to park in public parking and leave all of our belongings and possibly someone breaking the window…it would be nice to have been able to just park and then walk to town and come back to check in after 4pm

Fun Famiy Getaway with Georgia on our Mind!

This was an excellent location for us to celebrate my grandson’s 8th birthday. Our party of six had ample space. The condo was immaculate and we had everything we needed. The owners communicated before, during, and after our stay. As a bonus the owners provided Ray Charles albums for us to enjoy. I would definitely stay at this location again!

Mostly comfortable. Definitely cute.

To start, the owners are super communicative. Big plus in my book. The property is clean, easily accessible, dedicated parking, in a good location for walking, and overall just a nice place to stay. The only qualms my family and I had were the beds… they are less than desirable, without question. There are also no TV’s in any of the bedrooms, which in the grand scheme isn’t a huge deal, but for people who like to fall asleep with the TV on, or need a break from the family, it’s a bummer. And the balcony needs to be replaced, soon.

Lovely St Augustine

Spacious, spotless and ideally situated for leaving the car parked at the apartment and walking around the city. The apartment has a rich history of music and culture in that Ray Charles played there. The immediate surrounding area is being rejuventated and bringing back buildings to there original state. People we me around the area were friendly and helpful. Communication with the host was excellent and responsewas prompt.

Great property in a wonderful historic neighborhood

PRO: Beautiful property, spacious with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. Wonderful, historic property & area. CON: never received information on how to access condo. had to call. TV reception-We got kicked off many times . Rebooted TV and WiFi many times and spent hours "fixing" the TV. One member of our party was very ill at times and sitting in the beautiful condo to recuperate (stage 4 cancer) was what was needed...but, the TV was not always working. We called within an hour of arriving and person said they would call back with help & we never heard back from her that day. Called again on day 2 and responded with text with useless information. Called again and send additional information which was marginally helpful...but again, spent over an hour to get the temporary "fix" to work. Serious crunch on our vacation time and frustrated no one came out to fix the situation. Kitchen cabinets need replacing and doors fell off of two cabinets and one cabinet couldn't open unless the oven door was opened all the way. Shower pressure in one bathroom was poor as well as sink pressure in master bath. Very frustrated by poor customer service response, but loved the property and neighborhood! I operated vacation rentals for over 20 years and prided myself on exceptional customer service. I realize this company has 78 properties to manage...but a bit more focus on customer service would go a long way.

Hidden Gem

Property was very clean and very spacious. You are easliy able to walk to the heart of downtown in under 10 minutes. Being former residents we were not concerned about the area, however, it isn't in the best part of town, next to the St. Francis house. We also were woken up each night of our stay, by extremely noisy tenants in the 3rd Floor Penthouse Suite, that came in at 2am and did not abide by the noise ordinance, who also parked in the wrong numerical parking spots. Would recommend to other travelers or stay at this location again,

The Ray delivers

had a delightful weekend at the Ray's gorgeous 2nd floor 3 bedroom apartment. We loved the stage in the corner of the Living Room and the Victrola and selection of Ray Charles records! Close enough to walk to many attractions, including the Lightner Museum, as well of great food! The unit was very clean and tidy...with an elevator right int the place! We WILL be back.

In St. Augustine for my daughters wedding.

Everything was great and working with Daniel was very easy. Very responsive in a timely manner when I had questions or needed anything. Only issue I had, which was not Daniel’s fault was I couldn’t pull up instructions for checkout(the link in email). There was not a Welcome book anywhere to be found that would have answered our issues. Location is perfect and I would definitely recommend this property.

Wedding Party Success

I rented out the whole condo for my wedding party. Location was great, condos were even bigger than expected and look as pictured, but the one thing I would say is that when I arrived the code I was provided was not accurate and then I was given multiple codes and it was a bit confusing to keep straight for everyone. I stayed on the top floor, but people on the bottom 2 floors found multiple roaches. Other than that, the stay was great. It's not easy to find a place accommodating to so many people in downtown St. Augustine.

sons wedding weekend

we loved how close it was to everything. the wedding was at the treasury downtown st augustine . my sister & family had the first floor . me , husband & other sister / husband had second floor . what we were very disappointed about is our son & his wife to be wanted the top floor . he is the one that found the property for all us . when he booked the reservation ( also myself 2nd floor & my sister on 1 st floor ) all 3 of our reservations were for the wrong dates . All 3 of us booked our reservations separately.. me in Fl , sister inSC & son in as in idaho at the time . Long story short . we changed the dates to the correct dates & was told that the top floor was booked & not available. so my son and future wife ( & her family ) rented another house . The 3rd floor was not stayed in Wed , Thur night . finally friday night we saw 1 van . Saturday morning it was gone & never saw anyone else . we left sunday around 10:30. i was so upset because we wanted our son / future wife and family to be with us . but , the property was nice beds are a bit hard and there are no coaster for the drinks . it is as written over and over to use coasters . Just never saw not even 1 on the 2nd floor .

Great Location & Host

A group of friends and I booked this condo for another friend's wedding. The location was so convenient and close to downtown St Augustine that we were able to walk everywhere, weather permitting. The 2 designated parking spots were also a plus, although it was easy to find additional parking nearby as well. The condo is spacious and well maintained. There was more than enough space in the common area for 8 adults to play board games and get ready for the wedding. The hosts were super helpful and responded quickly to any and all questions we had before and during our stay. The only notable issue we ran into was the ants in one of the bathrooms and the cockroaches. The ants were all over the shower and at one point got all the way to the sink as well. We also saw about 5-6 cockroaches in the kitchen/living room areas during our 4 day, 3 night stay. We do think the rain during our stay could have contributed to the large amount of bugs we saw in the condo since we didn't have any issues the first day when the weather was warm and sunny. Overall, we really enjoyed our time staying at this condo and would definitely recommend it for the proximity to downtown St Augustine and the responsive and helpful hosts.
