Second Wind is a spacious five-bedroom coastal home in Vilano Beach - a quiet, uncrowded neighborhood just a short walk to the shore and six miles from the heart of historic St. Augustine. With room for up to 12 guests and over 3,600 square feet of living space across two floors, it's built for groups who want to spread out, slow down, and actually enjoy their time together. The space
The layout divides naturally into two distinct living zones. Downstairs, the entertainment floor sets the tone with a 75" HDTV with Roku, a Denon sound system with color-changing LED lighting, a foosball table, and a collection of board games and toys - everything you need for evenings that don't require a plan. A full-size refrigerator rounds out the space, keeping snacks and drinks within easy reach. Upstairs, the main living areas open up with a fully equipped kitchen, formal dining area, and direct access to the balcony.

Sleeping arrangements
Five bedrooms sleep 12 comfortably across seven beds. The ocean-facing primary suite features a king bed, partial sea views, and a private balcony - a calm spot for morning coffee before the day begins. A second king suite looks out toward Castle Ott, while the queen bedroom overlooks a serene nature preserve and includes a 42" flat-screen TV and generous closet space. On the first floor, a bunk room offers two twin-over-full beds, and a guest room provides two double beds - well-suited for kids or additional adults.

Kitchen & dining
The kitchen comes fully stocked for cooking at scale. Stainless steel appliances include an electric stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster, along with all the cookware, dishes, and silverware needed to feed a crowd. The formal dining table brings everyone together indoors, while the outdoor dining setup creates an easy transition for al fresco meals. A propane BBQ grill is set up poolside for anyone who prefers to cook outside.

Outdoor living
The private pool is the centerpiece of the backyard - fully fenced, with a pool view from multiple areas of the home, and available to heat for cooler evenings. Pool heat is available upon advance request with an additional fee of $40/day. The wraparound balcony offers ocean and sunset views and gives the home an open, airy feel that's hard to leave. Beach essentials - including towels, an umbrella, a beach blanket, and snorkeling gear - are provided, so getting to the sand is simple. Beach access is a short walk away.

Bathrooms & laundry
Three full bathrooms are spread across the home, each with hot water, hair dryer, and cleaning products. A commercial-grade washer and dryer handle laundry with ease - a welcome feature for longer stays or beach-heavy trips.

Connectivity & convenience
High-speed mesh Wi-Fi supports the whole group, whether that means streaming, remote work, or video calls running simultaneously. Self check-in via keypad, a private entrance, and four free off-street parking spaces via a circular driveway mean arrival is straightforward and stress-free.

Location
Vilano Beach sits just outside the bustle of downtown St. Augustine - close enough to explore the oldest city in America, the Vilano Pier, local restaurants, and Intracoastal Waterway views, but quiet enough that you'll feel like you've genuinely gotten away. It's the kind of location that earns return visits.
