We never met the host. The best part of this Vrbo is that it is close to the beach, a very nice one. Also, the hot tub was nice to come back to after being out for the day. It is a very simple and cozy apartment. We will definitely rent again if we go back to St. Augustine.

This was the perfect little spot to spend the weekend, very quiet, peaceful and so close to the beach we walked multiple times a day. Would definitely stay here again <3

Location is perfect for sightseeing and beach hopping, bungalow was perfect for a couple on a short stay. Recommend taking a portable clothes line or shepherds hook to hang wet towels etc. in the sun to dry faster. Highly recommended

Had a great time at this rental and it’s close proximity to the nearby beach. Hosts were very quick to reply and very accommodating. The jacuzzi on the patio was a great way to end each evening. Would stay here again in the future.

Small and cozy

Very small., but was cozy and cute. Never used kitchen, but had everything if we had wanted to. It was too cold to use beach, but looked very clean and pretty. The hot tub felt really good after a cold day outside. If it had been hotter outside, the screened in patio would have been nice to take advantage of. It was a perfect walk to beach

Wonderful!

Very nice space. Clean and well maintained. I know it’s a studio. But it seems very open. The screened in patio gives you plenty of room to spread out! My favorite part was the hot tub! I would definitely recommend Seashell Studio and I would also love to stay there again!

KNOW B4 U GO! This is a room in someone's basement and NOT an "entire apartment". The homeowners are upstairs and apparently they never leave. This is not at all what we expected. You can hear & smell everything they do overhead. Supper with pots and pans banging at 6pm and then they start up again around 3am maybe moving furniture or having bowling practice, idk?? but sounds more like someone sitting in an office chair and free rolling around for hours. Around 4am the coffee starts and at 6am the bacon is on. We barely got any sleep and we just stared at the ceiling for hours wondering when it would all end. It was a very small and cramped space - most hotel rooms are bigger than this, and again, you're literally renting a room in someone else's house while they reside overhead and you just feel like you're being watched or listened to the whole time. For what we paid we could have had a luxury hotel room somewhere else -granted 15-20 minutes away from where we wanted to be, but still better than this and not nearly as weird. I will definitely be more careful next time and read between the lines before booking. Also, you are surrounded on all sides by other condos so enjoying the "porch"/hot tub isn't worth it (which we never did). oh my, NEVER AGAIN!! All I can say is I think this will be one of those stories my husband and I can look back on and laugh about one day, but it sure wasn't funny at the time I can tell you that! Complete waste of time and money.

Location is Great, But

My wife and recently stayed at this cute studio off of the main house. We loved the location. It’s super cute , walking distance to the beach. I would like to note, some things to consider, when staying here. It’s connects to the main house, so you can hear everything the owners do, walls are thin. Secondly, I loved the jacuzzi, they have a light on timer that goes off every 3mins, very annoying., all night long. I not stay at this house again because of this. Something to be mindful of before booking .

I loved being able to walk to the beach anytime I wanted to. We saw the Sunrise every morning, we played in the ocean. And then I'm the evening, there was the hot tub. It's small, but comfortable. (We didn't stay there to be in the room.)We also went to St. Augustine, which was also fabulous. Will definitely come back. ❤️❤️
