Beautiul Beach

This area of the beach is the best because it's private and quiet. I didn't mind the walk along the boardwalk to get there either because it was the most scenic view of the the dunes that I've seen so far! The owners were very responsive and thoughtful as well!

Amazing

We had a wonderful stay here, property was lovely, a short walk to the beautiful beach. Owners were very easy to work with, answered any questions we had quickly. We would stay here again, St Augustine is a wonderful place to visit.

Perfect St. Augustine getaway

This beach condo is a spotlessly clean, warm, well stocked, comfortable place to stay while visiting St. Augustine and surrounding areas. Just like home! Close enough to the city area to be convenient but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. Restaurants and grocery nearby as well as walking trails and various sightseeing adventures in the area. Sue and Rhett were prompt in replies to questions. We would happily stay here again!

Home away from home at Quail Hollow

My husband, college-age son, and mom and I had a wonderful two-week stay here. We have been coming to Saint Augustine from Maryland for nearly 20 summers now and have stayed at Quail Hollow many times. This was one of the nicest most comfortable units we have stayed in. Loved the new furniture, upgraded kitchen, and comfy beds (just one thing, the unit could use an upgrade on the bath and hand towels --other than that, everything was perfect) We love the homey and cottage-y feeling of Quail Hollow. As long as you can handle all the stairs going up to the beach, it is a wonderful place to call home for a while. We loved eating at all the close by places -- Violas, The Elk House, Back 40 Cafe -- and as always, traveled the few minutes up to Saint Augustine Beach to Mango Mango's, Burrito Works, Choc Mool, and Kookabura multiple times (we kept to the Island this year, rather than going into the old town to avoid the crowds). We had mostly wonderful weather. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!

Great Trip

A week's stay is not long enough to enjoy the beach at Butler Beach- nice accommodations and well equipped. Water pressure in one shower is a little low, and one shower probably needs the levers and controls updated. The new carpet was nice (installers need to come back and hammer down the carpet nails near the doorways- some are still protruding- doesn't feel good on bare feet- ouch). The owners are very easy to deal with and very accessible. One last thing- we were awakened on our final morning there with roofers climbing on the roof at 7:50 am...didn't understand that...By the time we checked out at 10am, they were working hard.

Very Comfortable, great location

While this development is not newer, this home was recently updated in kitchen and living areas. Small but adequate outdoor space, nice (unheated) pool and a hearty walk to a magnificent beach of white walkable sand. Close to a few great eateries. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Great place would visit again.

Great place for Family Get Away

Spent the week with family at this condo. I had everything I needed to cook meals for the family. The condo was 10 minutes away from downtown Saint Augustine. It was too cold to use the pool or to swim on the beach but they were within a walk from my condo. I will definitely stay here again

Nice Place and Location

Well appointed condo with plenty of room- Bed was very comfortable. Love that type of mattress. Kitchen appliances worked properly and the cabinets were stocked with a variety of cookware and dishes. The air unit seemed to cool one side of the condo a little more than the other, but the unit worked great. I've stayed at many condos in Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina through the years offered on VRBO and this particular one is one of the best! Nice pool and only a short walk to the beach- a beautiful view from the top of the Quail Hollow complex to the ocean!!! Will definitely return!!

Perfect Condo and Location

We had an amazing week at Quail Hollow. This condo is basically perfect. Plenty of room to spread out, a pool right outside, and the beach a mere 5 minute walk away. I've never stayed in such a well-stocked condo - plenty of towels and beach toys for kids. It was nice not having to bring all of our stuff with us! The location was perfect, too. Quail Hollow is an older complex. Gate/Fence protected. Very quiet and well maintained. We've been to St. Augustine in the past, but this beach was beautiful. Wide, white sandy beaches. Not overcrowded since access is restricted through the dunes. Only 15 minutes drive to Old St. Augustine. We all loved this spot. We have never repeated a VRBO location, mostly because we like to experience new things. But with COVID, a lot of our original plans were cancelled for this summer. So we are hoping to be back next summer for some kid camps. And if so, we'll be booking here again!

Wonderful Stay

This was our first time staying on the Atlantic coast and my wife and I couldn't have been more pleased. The condo was exactly as described and easy to access. If you have never been to St Augustine to take in all of the beauty and history, we'd highly recommend contacting Sue to arrange to rent her condo.

Clean and decorated beautifully!

We stayed here due to a softball tournament our daughter was playing in at Flagler College. The condo was very clean and beautifully decorated. Short walk to a beautiful beach also. I would stay here again and highly recommend.

Beautiful home, perfect location

We had the BEST time during our stay. We have 3 children ranging in ages from 4-16 and my husband and I. The home is beautiful and furnished nicely. The location was perfect for our needs. Grocery store right down the road. Downtown St Augustine just a short, easy drive away. The beach access is just a quick walk and the beach was one of the most beautiful I’ve seen. It was quiet and felt very safe. There was a minor problem with the garbage disposal backing up, but the owner took care of the need right away and had it fixed. I can’t say enough about how easy they were to work with. We are all refreshed and ready to start the new year. We can’t wait to come back!
