We had an amazing time here. This house is great for families, especially with small children. Location is great! House has everything you could possibly need. This will be our new go to place in St Augustine Beach.

House was nice, but it definitely needs to be updated. The windows in the bedrooms show signs of mold and dry rot from the ocean air. Nothing that impacted the stay, but definitely noticeable. Bill was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed! The walk to the beach was quick and easy and having the pool at the house was amazing!

The hot tub was hot and accessible. We did not use the pool. Kitchen very very well stocked. Will need a better cookie sheet. Dishwasher needed to be replaced bc it does not clean. Beach equipment was generous. I was so impressed with everything provided. Bill was great with his communications. Decorations were creative and tasteful. Seating and beds were plentiful and well placed. I loved our stay with The Surf'Up. Our grandchildren had wonderful memories on the beach just over the walkway. I would love to stay there again. A master on the main that was spa like. A second master on the upper floor was spacious and well layed out. Homelike atmosphere inside and out.

Our host ( Bill) was very welcoming and provided helpful/useful information about the local area. The house and pool were very clean and the decor is darling and unique.The kitchen has everything you need from coffee maker, Kureig, blender, toasters, crockpot, waffle maker and MUCH more.The garage is full of pool/beach toys and floats as well as surfboard, SUB and boogie boards and of course lots of Beach-cruiser bikes!ALL the beds are very comfortable (which is Not the case in many VRBO’s) My family has stayed in Many, Many VRBO’sin several states and this is their very favorite We will definitely come back!!

Check in and check out were a breeze. The property is in a great location. We had teenagers and they were able to eat tacos whenever they wanted to. And our older beer drinkers enjoyed the brewery! Our daughter enjoyed biking (her own) every day. Mr. Black responded to our concerns in a timely manner. The kitchen was well stocked but everything was in a jumble. It took awhile to find things. The photo of the garage was well organized but that was not the case. We had to hunt around for things. The property could use some TLC but it was still a great beach house for our group.

Florida vacation

This beach house is in a perfect location and the beach was absolutely amazing. The house itself was not thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival so we did have to clean counters/sinks, wipe down appliances and wash all the bedding prior to our first night of sleep. Only one washer is working of the 2 so we found a local laundromat. Communication with the owner was just fine, only thing was he didn't own that the house wasn't cleaned even though we sent pictures of what we were seeing. Overall we had a wonderful time and the cleaning issues definitely did not spoil our trip.

The house is very nice. Awesome location right on the beach. There is a pool and Jacuzzi, which is excellent. The owner was great to communicate with and very responsive. The property management team or person needs to be replaced. I know the owner lives far away, but there were just too many things that were not working properly, broken, or just left undone or messy. If it weren’t for the management of the property I would give it five stars. I don’t like when the picture show everything spotless and clean and orderly and then you show up and it is not that way.

Perfect location and “party” home

This is the perfect location for St Augstine Beach! It’s right on the beach (you can’t get closer to the sand), it’s within walking distance of a couple of the more fun restaurants in the area, and across the street from a beloved local coffee shop. There’s ample bedrooms for a stay with kids and both of the “main” suites have large bathrooms, with great showers and water pressure. Unfortunately the renters prior to us were less than ideal and the one woman cleaning crew simply couldn’t turn the place around in time. I recommend bringing your own towels (very few were provided, especially in the common areas like kitchen, powder room, etc), and if you like to cook, anything you might need to prep a meal. We stay in about a dozen vacation homes a year and this is one of those that provides the “leftovers” from other residences. You are definitely paying for the size and location of the home, not the luxurious amenities. It’s a great party house right on the beach though!

Perfect House for our Bachelorette Trip!

The house was perfect! Plenty of space for a larger group of girls. Clean, spacious kitchen and sitting area. Sleeping arrangements and bathrooms worked really well and the backyard pool plus being steps away from the beach were better than we could've asked for. The host was so communicative and responsive with details about the property and recommendations for the area. Check in and check out was easy and seamless. There were so many great spots to grab coffee, food and drinks around the area and just a short uber ride from downtown St. Augustine. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

Everything and more

We wanted for nothing. The house was amazing, clean, roomy, and right on the beach. It was peaceful but still in the area of things to do around it. The bikes were a special thing that the kids loved. Lots of extras in the garage for the teens to do. The first floor master was so helpful so the kids could have the second floor. The house was better than any picture could show. The owner was kind and communicative and the whole process rom start to finish was seamless.
