Beautiful Oasis By the beach!
This property was absolutely beautiful! It was a 2 minute walk to the beach with an incredible backyard. The hot tub was great for the summer nights and our hosts were so kind and helpful. We will definitely be staying again.

Fun at the SALTY PINEAPPLE
Beautiful back yard. Very nice place. Walking distance to the beach , Icecream shop, diners. The decor was so cute, beachy. They had plenty of beach chairs , boogie boards ,skimmers, even a couple of wagons to pack all your beach stuff to and from the beach. Owners were very nice and Very accommadating.

Quiet street great location
Had a great time. Classic Florida beach home in a great beach community. Loved the back patio area completely shaded with beautiful Live Oak trees. If you are looking for slower pace and relaxing time this area is the place to be.

Amazing Family Vacation
The house was clean upon entering. It was neat and nicely furnished. There was a wonderful welcome binder explaining the benefits of the property and different places to visit, shop or eat at. Everything was provided such as beach towels, blankets & pillows, dishes and cookware, etc. The grill made excellent ribs and the hot tub was a great place for the kids to relax before supper and for the parents to escape the kids afterwards. The shower outside helped after sandy trips to the beach and there was no need for us to bring all our beach toys because the Salty Pineapple provided everything from a wagon to tent to boogie boards. Board games were found in the laundry closet, although we did not get to play these as we were busy running around downtown. I cannot wait for us to figure out dates for next year to come and spend a wonderful weekend or even a week with the family. The owners were quick to respond to any questions I had regarding the surrounding areas and so polite. We were celebrating my sister's birthday and with their help I was able to plan a nice outing to the San Sebastian Winery and the Salt Spa. If you are looking for a nice, quiet place but good for families, look no further than the Salty Pineapple. Thank you so much for the memories!

Great Property for the Beach!
This property is so close to the beach, it was amazing! Cozy little house with everything you needed for beaches. Very rustic, what you would imagine a beach house to be. The property was about 15 minutes away from the Saint Augustine downtown area, which is the perfect time in a vehicle. The owner was very attentive and communicated throughout the entire stay. Thank you so much for a fantastic trip!

Tranquil and close to beach
My boys and I enjoyed a weekend getaway and this place was perfect. The 1st morning we rode bicycles to the beach and the next day we walked as it was so close! The drive to downtown was quick where we toured the city. The unit was clean, quiet, comfy and had all that we needed. Host was pleasant and was a text message away. Would definitely book this place again.

A duplex /Needs some updating
The bunk bedroom is convenient for families. Rooms were clean. Check in was easy. Patio in back needed cleaning. One fold-up bed was broken and could not be used. Owners need to do some updating. Location is convenient.

The Salty Pineapple was perfect for our family of 5
Our family (2 boys, Mom, Dad and Nana) absolutely loved our stay at the Salty Pineapple. We rented unit A, and it was perfect for our family. It was decorated beautifully and it was very functional and most importantly, COMFORTABLE for our multi generational family. Shaiffu and Alex are super responsive and professional. Vrbo ask us to rate the communication, it was actually 10 stars! Thank you for such a great experience! We can't wait to return!

Perfect Trip
It has pretty much anything you will need for the trip.
The location is great, quite and convenient. The house has lots of games to keep the kids busy. Beds are comfortable and neat.
I was also very impressed with how organized the owner is. They send us very detailed information about check in process, what is available in the house, what are the fun places to go in the area and so on, which were really handy.
We would pick the same house if we go back to St Augustine again. Thank you!

Doing it right!
I have rented in St Augustine for many years. This guesthouse is one of the better properties not because of its posh interior (it’s not) but because the owners pay attention the to little details. They do things to make you feel welcome and at home. They left a welcome card, had bottled water in the fridge when we arrived, and provided all of the beach toys, chairs, bikes, and umbrellas for our use. They truly went out of their way to make our stay wonderful, including working until late in the night to get the hot tub back in working order. It’s these actions that made our stay better than others in recent years.
The house itself is in a great location just a short walk to the beach. Not a big deal since a beach cart is also provided! The accommodations are comfortable. However, if we had more guests I think we would have felt crowded. One thing to consider if you have a large party (4+) is that there is only one shower and only one comfortable sofa to watch the TV. If I were to improve on one thing in the home it would be to add a TV to each bedroom and to add more comfortable seating in the living room. It rained during our stay quite a bit so we found ourselves inside. The provided boardgames were another nice touch!
This property met all of our needs well. The backyard is an oasis, truly beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We LOVED The Salty Pineapple!
I wish I could give The Salty Pineapple a 10 star review! It was perfect for our first girls reunion weekend. (friends for 37 years) and the first time we had a girls weekend. Best ever! The owners are AMAZING! They respond to questions extremely quick and they are so helpful. Nice people! I was very impressed by their detailed information packet sent prior to my stay. So organized! The 5 bunk beds were the selling point when we were looking for a place to stay in St. Augustine. We could sleep in the same room in our own comfortable adult size bunk beds. Loved it! Stayed up talking all night. The living area was clean and the kitchen was stocked with the basic (pans, utensils). The house is a duplex consisting of 2 living spaces with a common patio that both sides of the house can enjoy. We were in the A side of the duplex. We had the best "neighbors" (guests in the B side of the duplex). Take that into consideration if you have a loud group (always one in a group!). We stayed up late catching up on life, but we were mindful to be very quiet because we did not want to disturb the guests in suite B. The location is PERFECT! Cost us $8 Uber trip one way into downtown St. Augustine. So cheap! The people in St. Augustine were so friendly! Everyone we met were delightful. We walked home from the Taco Place late at night and felt perfectly safe. Feeling safe was VERY important to us. The neighborhood is a typical older beach area. We walked to the beach to watch the sunrise. About a 4 minute walk. Straight shot from the Pineapple. Cross a small street, but not a big deal. Perfect beach access. Walk to AIA and take a right. Great casual places to eat. We loved the burrito (Taco Place). We were sad to leave, but the Salty Pineapple created wonderful memories!
