This home was beautifully outfitted. Every amenity we could want was there. We had a family reunion there and having a king size bed in every bedroom was icing on the cake! Everything was spotless, and the location was ideal. We were one block from the beach and just a few miles from the old Saint Augustine. We truly had a wonderful week there and planned to return.!

This was an important weekend for so many of us and we needed a place that would elevate our time together as a family. We absolutely found the retreat and perfect hosts to accommodate our needs. David was wonderful, prompt and very easy to work with as our contact. The incredible 3 story rental was simply amazing! It was even better than expected and the ocean view just perfect. It was indeed a perfect weekend and equally a perfect stay at the Pelican's Beach Retreat. I hope that we'll be able to come back again for another incredible stay. Again, thanks to our great hosts for everything!

This house is beautiful! The furnishings were very nice. The views from the top, main floor are gorgeous! It is so spacious - plenty of room for everyone to be together but also room to ‘get away’. The kitchen was stocked with anything you could need. The beds were very comfortable. The pool and spa were amazing! We spent a lot of time there! The neighborhood was quiet and not very busy. The walk to the beach took about 5 min. This section of the beach was awesome! Not crowded at all and a large beach even during high tide. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting St Augustine!

Our Favorite Butler Beach Getaway

We love staying at David and Patti’s rental. You can’t beat the proximity to the beach and how close it is to the surrounding St. Augustine area. We also love the private pool/hot tub that comes with the unit. The hosts are always so accommodating and welcoming. Communication is quick and the check in/out process is very easy. We will continute to book this property on our future trips to the area.

The perfect getaway!

My husband and I stayed here for our Babymoon and it did not disappoint! We loved being fairly close to downtown St Augustine and found that the location actually helped us explore more of the surrounding areas and beaches! The beach that is a very short walk from the stay is absolutely breathtaking, we couldn’t stop taking pictures. Communication is clear, and the place was so clean and well-kept. We would absolutely come back and stay here in the future!

Flagler College visit

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights while we visited Flagler College. It was perfect for our needs…close to campus and also a short walk to the beach. Very clean and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

The water softener did wonders on my skin. I’ve underestimated the value of that. This is a nice quiet, clean location right next to the beach where it’s not crowded at all. Went for Nights of Lights. Had a great stay and the host is be egg communicative. Thank you for a great stay!

My wife and I stayed here recently just for two nights. Unfortunately the weather was chilly. Therefore pool and beach was kinda outta the question. But the pool area was nice. The space was well equipped with everything we needed. Nicely decorated and very clean. The driveway parking was the only thing questionable. We had no issues but if you have problems walking up steep long inclines it may be a problem..not anything can be done to rectify as every house on that block has steep long driveways..other than that everything was perfect and it fit our needs and wants perfectly..

Great Location - St Augustine - Walking Distance to the Beach

Quiet street - located within walking distance from the beach. Very clean - nice floor plan - comfortable bed - conveniently located. The pool was very nice too! I will definitely stay there again when I return to St. Augustine!

Great place!

loved this place. Very quiet and clean. Just a short walk to the beach and not far from all the shopping and restaurant's. The host is very easy to reach and responds quickly. I also loved the shower:) Nothing worse than wanting a good shower after a day at beach and having wimpy water pressure. This is not the case here. I would definitely stay here again.

Empty nester getaway

This was the perfect location for a couple of empty nesters who no longer have to haul a wagon full of toys to the beach. We loved the house, the decor, the location...everything. The hosts were appropriately communicative. It gave us a good balance of proximity to the beach and to historic St. Augustine. We hope to return next year.

PERFECT GETAWAY

Everything about this property is perfect, and David and Patti were excellent! The house was clean and well-stocked, with everything we needed for our short trip to St. Augustine. The beach is a very short walk from the home. We will be using this house again in the future.

Great getaway!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Owners were very helpful with checkin/checkout processes. Just enough space for our family of 4. Enjoyed private deck and lots of pool time each day. Short walk to beach which was wonderful to come back for lunch, pool and rest time. Private pool was a great perk after beach time! Only a 5 min drive to A1A beach area and 10-15 min drive to St Augustine. We love the location as it was off of populated beach area which allowed for more privacy. Owners were respectful of our family on property as well! Would highly recommend for a getaway or small family vaca!
