We had a great experience overall and truly enjoyed our stay. I’m giving 4 stars only because the listing described the property as a “short walk” to the beach, which was a bit misleading—especially with three young children (ages 3–9) in tow. However, we were able to drive and had convenient access nearby, which made up for it. Everything else about the stay was excellent.

Beautifully decorated, up to date house. Would highly recommend renting. Plenty of seating and dining space. Kitchen is great for cooking and well stocked. Beds are all comfortable. Pool is clean and looks onto a beautiful backyard. House is situated on an old tree lined street. 5 min bike or 15 min walk to beach. Also near Mary St beach entrance with parking.

Great Family Spot!

We were so thankful we found this great spot! The pool was perfect for our group of six including the two kids! We loved having two living rooms and the freedom of plenty of space! Location was great with close proximity to restaurants and beach access. We used Crescent Beach parking lot access which was not even 5 minutes down the road. Beds were ok and everything was incredibly stocked - towels, kitchen, laundry room etc. Great communication and postings around the house too! Neighborhood was quiet and safe.

Perfect for us! Not a single complaint!

We had a fantastic stay at this beach house! The location was perfect—a quick drive to the beach—and the house itself suited all our needs. It was extremely clean, the kitchen was extremely well stocked, truly had everything we needed and more. We used the pool and hot tub daily, and the fast WiFi and strong air conditioning made everything extra comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent—quick, helpful, and easy. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Beach Trip 625

The house was exactly as we expected and it had everything that we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked and the appliances were modern and in great working order. All the beds were comfortable. The pool and hot tub were wonderful, I only wish we could have adjusted the temperature of the hot tub. It was a great stay and there was plenty of room for the kids to run around and play outside.

Beautiful hideaway!

We come to St Augustine every year if we can for a girls trip. This year we stayed at Paradise by the River. Lovely home, great communication, awesome pool and hot tub. The home was clean, bright, and airy. Amenities were just as described. Easy access to the beach or downtown. All in all an excellent trip!

Better than expected

My daughters and I stayed for a long weekend. I thought the home was even nicer than portrayed on the VRBO app. The neighborhood was lovely. It was large, comfortable and well equipped. Was one of the nicest VRBOs we have stayed in.

Great Stay

The host was incredibly nice and communicated well, which was great since we arrived fairly late. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed just lounging poolside and relaxing. I was also appreciative that the air conditioning was set cool enough since it was incredibly hot outside. Overall, we had a great time and will look at one of their properties again when we come back 🙂

Great spot

Location and size of the house was perfect , the only issue we had was the jacuzzi and pool lights didn’t work for our stay. The main reason we chose this property was for the pool and jacuzzi. Other than that is was very nice and clean.

Beautiful home. Very clean and well equipped. Great location, close to beach. We enjoyed the pool and the heated spa in the evening. Highly recommend this home. Pet friendly property but no pet smell. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Rental

This rental was perfect. Very clean and well appointed. Nice small pool, hot tub and patio area. Nice sun room with its own television & a/c split. Nice neighborhood with lots to do nearby. 5 star!

We loved this house! It is the perfect place to stay when visiting st Augustine. We enjoyed exploring the town and having this gem to come back to relax at. We spent a lot of time at the pool. One day when we were enjoying the pool the ice cream truck came down the road and my kid loved it! We hope to stay at this location in the future. ☺️

Beach Getaway

Stayed for multiple occasions within 1 week: 4th of July, family members wedding, and dad's birthday. Busy week and this house was perfect! Beautiful home, spacious, all the items you could need in a kitchen. We used the pool and spa daily, loved it being private and not at a hotel sharing with multiple other people. Right by the river, went and watched the sunset multiple nights. Safe neighborhood. Loved our stay.

Your own private oasis!

If you’re looking for your own private oasis this is the place! Our family of 3 stayed here. The house is in a private location, very quiet & it’s beautiful. The partially fenced in back yard was perfect for our old dog. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the beach or a quick less than 2 minute drive. If you have a 4x4 you can drive on the beach. If not there is a local park down the road that is across the street from the beach access & you could likely park there, as we saw people doing this during our stay. The pool was very clean and the host provided a detailed video on how to heat the spa. We have stayed at many rentals and this by far was one of our favorite places. The kitchen is well stocked. We only slept in the master bedroom. So I can’t speak for the other beds but the master bed was comfortable. We even saw some wildlife during our stay! Armadillos, a turtle, and a deer. We are from NC and do not have armadillos. So that was neat for our 7 yr old daughter to see. We plan on returning in the future. We created so many wonderful memories here and look forward to our next stay.

Beautiful Home in Quiet Neighborhood Mins from Beach

We visit St. Augustine beach 1-2 times a year and this house is an absolute gem! Clean, spacious, new pool area, and very close to the beach. Great communication with owner….would love to stay here again!
