The host via text was super friendly nice and responsive. Very accommodating. The condo was very clean, big and open. There were plenty of board games and suggestions/coupons for local attractions. The internet was fast and each tv had a roku, to make it accessible for streamming. Everything worked great, and it was in a perfect location. I highly recommend the host!!

Super easy and convenient to book and check in. I was communicated with weekly leading up to our trip and then given the check in information a few days prior. The unit we stayed in was as described and location was perfect. I was looking specifically for a unit on the first floor close to the pool, and this one had all the check marks. The unit is very comfortable. We had 4 adults and never felt cramped. Layout is not perfect and the furniture is comfortable. We cooked meals in the home for our stay and found the kitchen to have everything we needed. Having in unit laundry was a huge plus! We had one snafu and I was able to text our host and received a response within a few minutes. I appreciated the ease of communication and quick response time. Ample parking and grocery store near by.

This property is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. It was tastefully decorated and had everything needed for our stay. The unit was steps from one of the pools and only a short walk to the beach.

We had a great stay in St. Augustine! The unit was just as described—clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. The only downside was that the kitchen could have been better stocked with basics, but overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing experience.

This is our second stay at Driftwood Escape. The condo is excellent and the pool is right outside the door. Last but not least tis property is pet-friendly. We will be reserving this property for our vacation again next year.

Affordable, clean and close to the beach

Affordable 1st floor condo with relatively brief walk to the beach. Not too far from St Augustine tourist area. We would use them again and recommend!

Great Escape to relax

The exterior of the property is well maintained and managed. The condo itself was great as described but if there was one thing I didn't like it would be the beds. The beds are the only thing keeping this from being truly 5 stars. I wish the pool didn't close at dusk, as we love to swim at night. Other than that everything else was great.

Long weekend at the beach

The location of this condo couldn’t be better- directly across from the pool and a 5 minute walk to the beach. However, the condo itself was very outdated and the furniture shown in the listing pictures was not accurate. The kitchen was listed as fully functional but the cookware was chipping and unsafe to use, the toaster oven doesn’t work and there is also no grill at the property as listed. Both showers drain so slowly that you can shower and take a bath at the same time, even in the walk in shower in the master. On the positive side, the host was easy to communicate with and the check in process was easy. And again, you can’t beat the location.

Great condo for pool, beach, and town!

We were very pleased with this first-floor condo. Just what we hoped it would be. The beach is a short walk away, the heated pool just outside our door, and plenty of restaurants and groceries nearby. A short drive to historic St Augustine and all the attractions in the area. Would seek this unit out again in future years.

Second Stay, Hopefully not the last!

The good- great location. Perfect for people with kids or adults as the pool gate is right there. The "bad" with fees $255 a night everything should be right! Cleanliness, water fixtures, TV, Internet should be correct before arrival. Day 1 we arrived late, couldn't get TV to work used our cell hot spot. Shower floor slippery from the shower head that was clogged up and not rinsing suds down the drain. So obviously shower had not been cleaned. Manager sent someone who replaced shower head. We were gone all day, grandkids arrived later, still tried to get Internet codes working. Gdaughter said GMA your feet are dirty. Yep, Bottoms of feet are black, literally. husbands too. No we did not come with dirty feet bottoms. We knew floors were sandy, but, were at the beach so didn't get to concerned until feet were black. Notified management about No TV, when the grandkids couldn't use devices after leaving the pool. Sunday still no Internet/ TV except our own hotspot. Restarted numerous times. Magically right before checkout all lights turned green on Modem and full Internet without a technician. I do understand it's hard to find good help/ cleaning services that won't skimp. Which is why we came back for a second trip, because it is a great condo. Manager will try to respond to everything. But, There are things in the condo that need attention, the sliding door is super hard to open even for strong boys. Only one room key is not enough. Hope they find a new good cleaning company.

Great time, great spot!

The site and photos were accurate. Great spot in the center of the community, on first floor, near the heated pool. Plenty of linens/towels… even some pool stuff and games! Kitchen was very well stocked. impressive! Property manager was very responsive. Only minor issue was the floors needed to be mopped better and no mop available; property manager offered to send cleaners over. And, would’ve liked more seating since it sleeps 5-6.

Great Labor Day weekend

My family along with several other families rented condos in Ocean Village Club for the Labor Day weekend and to celebrate a milestone birthday. The condo back door was only a few steps from one of the pools! The condo was clean and well equipped for our stay. No complaints at all and our unit was nicer than some of the others that our large group had rented.

Great Trip!

We had a great trip and this condo’s location within the complex and in St. Augustine is great. The cleanliness of the floors and our bed sheets were disappointing, but the owner acted quickly to take care of our issues. I would certainly recommend this spot!
