The location is perfect to walk on the beach, stores are nearby, and local attractions are just across the bridge. The pictures are exactly how the inside looks and the view of the sunrise was amazing!

The house was just as advertised. Cozy one room beach bungalow with ocean view. I few steps to the beach. And a very short walk to the small town. It was our time in St. Augustine and we would stay in this place again.

This 3rd-floor studio rental was perfect for us.  It was private and quaint. This 3rd-floor studio rental was truly a gem. Private and quaint, it exuded charm and cleanliness, just steps from the beach. From the California king bed, the view of the ocean waves crashing on the shore was incredibly soothing—a perfect escape. With thoughtfully arranged spaces for sitting, eating, and sleeping within its open floor plan, the studio felt both spacious and cozy. The galley kitchen offered ample room to prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks, and even without a dishwasher or laundry, our four-day stay was hassle-free. A place to hang or dry beach towels and bathing suits would have been a nice touch. The VRBO’s location was ideal, conveniently close to Publix and downtown St. Augustine. A quick 15-minute drive over the Vilano Bridge brought us to downtown, yet crossing the bridge felt like leaving the world behind—a beautiful sense of disconnection that we cherished. The consistent, kind, and accurate communication with the host was appreciated. We are already looking forward to booking our next stay in spring and fall!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The room was clean and ready for us upon our arrival. The view of the ocean from the room was beautiful. Just one thing as a side note, the stairs at night were dimly lit making it hard to navigate. Overall it was a nice experience

R and R and "Me" Time

The amenities and room was perfect for my stay which was mostly being camped out, reading books and listening to podcasts when not enjoying the beach. It was a perfect size for 1 to 2 people and equipped with a King Bed which was very comfortable. I felt safe and cozy. The hospitality was great and the daily check-ins via text and email were thoughtful as well. It was definitely a 5 star experience and what i needed to recoup from my work and personal life demands. Very refreshing!

Beautiful beach vacation

Excellent location with easy beach access. The beach is perfect and the place was quiet and very clean with a very comfortable bed. Everything we needed was provided. The owner was very sweet and made sure we had the most pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

Great location, dated interior, beware of stairs

Overall we had a very enjoyable stay due to the distance from the beach and Publix grocery. The bed was very comfortable but difficult to climb into.We would have liked to open the windows, but the windows were unstable.Coupons offered had expired.The stairs were sometimes hot, slippery and difficult to navigate. Having non plastic forks would have been ideal.

Great Getaway!

We had a wonderful time staying here! It is the perfect location, so close to the beach and near the bridge so we you can get into downtown. The host provided everything we needed and communicated very well! We will definitely be recommending and visiting again!

We absolutely loved the Penthouse. Beach is literally steps from the door....the views and sounds of the waves absolutely peaceful. The owners extremely attentive and timely with any questions. A little welcome coffee, water, coupons, and free local attraction tickets with a personalized note was so surprisingly nice touch. We WILL recommend to our friends and family and we WILL be back in the very near future. They had everything we needed right in the Suite.

The location of this apartment couldn't be better if you love a quiet neighborhood and proximity to the beach! We could hear the waves from our room and loved it. The apartment was clean but somewhat dated. Our host was a great communicator.

Vilano beach stay

Love love the quaintness of the area. Walked down the cute path every morning for the magnificent sunrise-you can also see it from our room but add the sand below your feet and the ocean mist hitting your face-it almost brought me to tears the first morning. Healing. Close to all sorts of cool history and things to do. Great great location. The absolutely only negative thing I would say is the mattress is too firm for me. And the mini kitchen sink stopper needs a good scrubbing-water pressure for the shower is poor. Those are not big deals at all just something for the owners to be aware of and fix if possible.
